No way, there were only 2 decent performances last night. We'll see what the ladies can do.
I take it back a little however, based on the fact that most of them aren't bad singers, just epically bad song choices.

I think so too, all 12 have had great moments, particularly Tim Halperin (of those not James, Casey or Jacob). But there were some hugely bad choices in songs last night
I think Jacob is amazing, but I wish he sang with a little more "oomph" in his middle registers - kinda breathy and throatish right now, like he really can't enunciate. He comes alive in the upper and lower registers.
Her personality could probably use some help. I'm not sure who's my pick yet. Jacob is sooo good but seems a little like he could crack under the pressure. Casey is good too but not sure if we're wanting another Taylor Hicks this soon.
They slipped a bit from the week before, I think. Song choice is usually the downfall of most at this stage. They all can kill some particular songs, but when they try to get fancy... well...
Haley may have been the only one who did as well as she usually does - "Blue" was good. There's probably too many country singers already tho.

hehe, Jacob looked Much better last week, not as good this one. Casey did better and is probably why they had 55million votes last night. Haley probably had the best night, Pia is as good as always but probably will sing ballads every week and bite the bullet country week.

hmm... I don't have a huge favorite out of the rest - Scotty may win because of the teenage girl vote tho I think maybe he's #4 at best.
Talent-wise: Casey, James, Jacob and Haley are top 4. I think Jacob will be going home this week or next tho. He just hasn't been as good as he was the past few weeks - bad song choice and very un-Jacob like the last 2-3 weeks. The couple before that he was spazzing out onstage. Bring us the Jacob who sang in Hollywood week and during the top 24 - top 13.
Really liked the last guy tonight - Phillip Phillips, tho he reminded me of Casey Abrams and will get the shaft eventually by all the teeny boppers. The tent girl had a good story, her boyfriend should have several job offers tomorrow. The first guy was good too, will be interesting to see how far he goes. His voice is a little high.
There's a guy on there - Josh Ledet, who grew up ~45 min from here - he's *really* good. 16 year old Jessica Sanchez is amazing too. Overall, the talent is pretty good this year. You'd probably like Colton, he was on last year. There's some other talented people but if the finals are based on talent it would be Josh and Jessica, check out their duet:
