Greetings and blessings to each and every one of you!! May is rapidly approaching and it is a month that our church has set aside for "extra" outreach designed to reach the type of people in our community. I would like to invite all of you to two events we are blessed enough to host.

May 7th 2000 we are having a unique event called "Muscle Car Sunday" we host this event once a year to draw those folks out to church who would normaly be at a carshow or racetrack during church hours (99% are unsaved folks) They come to display their cars and win trophies, then they fall in love with our JESUS!!!!! ps the worship team takes 50's do-wop music and rewrites the lyrics so that Jesus is brought forth, kinda in the fashion of the movie "sister act", it goes well with the car theme. Let me assure you it won't be like any church service you have ever attended in your life!!! Here is a pic from last year:

Then the following week we are twice blessed to host Brother Bob Harrington!!! You may remember him better as "The Chaplain of Burbon Street" He had probably the largest soul winning ministry aroung during the 60-70's Frankly the money and power got to him and he blew it! God in His awesome power and glory has restored thim man to his calling---pointing people to God. The dates are May 14th-17th at 7:00 pm Don't miss the message. Yes! I am scheduled to work that day (May 7), but I will see if I can get my work schedule changed. That really sounds cool... I can prolly go one of the other days too.

That sounds like the neatest idea! I would so love to go, but unfortunately I am going to have to work that day--I'm already going over my limit taking days off for OneDay--but I will definitely spread the word!!!

Hey I just reread my post and my boneheaded self forgot to put the time!!!!!!

The service starts at 10:00am and hot dogs and burgers will be served after, come early y to get a seat and a place to park!!!

My dad loves old cars and trucks. He has a '65 chevy and it is burnt orange. It is the coolest thing. He doesn't like to go to church that often. If you could e-mail me more information on it so I can try and tell my dad about it I would really appreciate it!

GET READY-GET READY-GET READY!!!!!

Well we have enough Hot Dogs and burgers to feed aroung 6-700 people. The tent will be going up on Thursday(for the feed) The last details are getting ironed out for the worship music as well. I will be there at about 7:00 am to help with the cooking. I will try and figure out some way to meet my Christian brothers and sisters. If ya'll were able to come together it would be fairly easy.

Anyway directions!!! Coming from the east. I'll give two sets you pick the easiest! Head west on highway 90 go through Liberty and Dayton, then in about six miles you will come to another wooded section of the highway (you are getting close) when you come out go another mile or so and you will see a billboard for a feed-store Start slowing down our turn is just after the feed store. You will see a huge white and blue barn on the right pull on in and the parking attendants will point you in the right direction.

Directions part 2 Go west on I-10 Go past Annuhuac to hwy-146 go right in about 10-15 miles you will come out at hwy 90 in Dayton. Go left and follow the directions above!

I drive by that church everytime I go to Houston. Yall have grown alot. I loved that sign that said "Bubbas welcome." I go to a country church too, but that still cracks me up.

Alas, I am working this AM. I tried to get off for it and they asked me to work more instead. It seems we had a few people quit in the last month, so the rest of us are filling in 'til they get more hired.
I really want to go... I love the old cars, and meeting everybody would have been great. I will make the trip this coming weekend.

What nights is the minister gonna be there?
