OK, may need to change the title to "people at work"... finally getting the newsletters changed over to the new layout/ style like the rest of the site with forever's help. It is looking smashing! Will be very easy to update in the future too, and will be part of our new front page very soon... we'll open it up hopefully this weekend...

Thanks to forever's help, we now have the beta copy of our new newsletter section up and running... we are still finishing up the spring 2000 issue, and still working on some of the graphics in the individual articles, but check here for a first look:

Some people mentioned problems with the gallery, sorry. When I upgraded the software last month, apparently we lost the keywords we had put in, I'll need to go back and put those in so people can search by name.

The other problem with being able to save the images to your own computer has been fixed... you are welcome to any images you would like... I'll be getting more put up this week, including a new section on the progress of our new building...

We will be moving to the new server in the next 24-48 hours... much more speed, less down time, online hotmail-type email for everyone with yourname@stand318.com, lots more to come!

I may shut the forums down for an hour or 2 when it comes time to actually complete the process so we don't lose anything... will make an announcement then.

Uploaded new version tonight, now you have "sent" messages in your pm's and the ability to tell if the person you have sent them to has read them yet...

The post message box is bigger now and an extra "reply" button is included right below the message window so all you have to do is type and "tab+enter" to send, no more searching for the reply button. The old one still works for those who like searching.
A few other things I can't remember right now ..

My internet access has been down the last couple of days, which is why I have been missing.. sorry. It still sucks and may be a day or so before it gets better...

And I think the whole instant smilie thing is very convenient. Still trying to get used to not having an active topics list...but the fact that on the main page it tells you who replied last and what thread they replied to helps...

I know it will. It's not bad right now! I really didn't mean it to sound like it was...just miss a few of the old features...but I know it's for the greater good. haha. Just keep telling yourself that at 6am when you are "ready to go" but still have an hours worth of work left.

We'll start adding events to it and pretty soon you'll be able to add your birthday in your profile and have it show up automagically in the calendar...

ps, not sure if I mentioned it, but you can now see your sent private messages and see if the person you sent them to has read them or not.

(whit) you can time them to see how long it takes them to finally check it.
