Every time I'm in public and see a man/woman in uniform I personally thank them and tell them we're praying for them. They are always so happy to hear that.

Thanks all who served or who are still serving.

Some people come home from the military traumatized by what they've seen from the enemy.

Me, I got to see the lovely underbelly of the supply department; the theft, the lies, everything. So forgive me if I don't think too kindly on the days that ruined my thoughts about the military.

Your experiences are too bad Mouse, but don't for a second believe they represent the greater Military...perhaps another job, with men that WANT to be there would have been better...

Our all volunteer force is a mirror of our society in general...skewed towards the good...sadly, there are some that do not uphold the values of the military...the vast majority do though...

I'm sorry you had a bad experience but for me...after 24 years and still counting of combat missions, jumping out of airplanes, low and slowing into the oceans, fast roping, rapelling, climbing, diving, and generally beating my old body to death and enjoying it...I would not change a thing.

Some guys and gals have experiences like yours...the vast majority look back and relish their service...all the best in your future though brother...you are now a veteran.
