A few of you guys know already, since we've requested private prayer - Melanie is 12-13 weeks pregnant now. We're not sure if it's a boy or girl yet, so we're calling the baby "Precious" for now

We've miscarried a few times (3 out of the previous 4), so we'd love if you say a prayer for Melanie and our little one. We're hopefully past the most dangerous part and Melanie is feeling a little better, just exhausted all the time (like she was with David). Precious is due here sometime in mid-late January

She just passed 13.5 weeks, entering into the second trimester, so things should be more stable now.

I may have shared eons ago about a lady who came into my life rather unexpected but very much needed, she referred to herself as a Prayer Warrior. Her name "Precious" Proffit. Needless to say she was always my "Precious Profit"

We've had a couple ultrasounds now - Melanie is at ~23 weeks now with our little girl - Elise Brielle. Her kidneys are a little dilated, but apparently still within normal range. Melanie is doing well and David is not sure why his mama is getting plump, but it's ok because he gets to eat ice cream too

and my sister's name is maria elise. good smart choice eh ? glad it all looks good. praying.

We saw 'Elise' on a wall in a catalog for kids' furniture, it's kind of short for my sister Judith's middle name "Elizabeth". Not sure where we got 'Brielle' from, maybe a baby name book, they seem to work together

I've loved the name Elise ever since I first saw my favorite movie "Somewhere in Time". Elise McKenzie (Jane Seymour) and Richard Collier (Christopher Reeve) in one of the saddest love stories ever... *wah* I could cry now just thinking about it...
