Q) If you've got two overstuffed small striped chairs with a matching ottoman, would you look for a contrasting solid sofa or would you make it country cottagey by adding one with a small floral pattern (corresponding colors)?

A: i would consult my potterybarn website and thier help too. but personally i would go with a semi-contrastic solid color. if the stripes arent that big. there will eventually be a "favorite chair" and it most likely be the different one. too blend it, get a few throw pillows or a throw blanket in the same color as the stand out chair to put on the stripes. check out potterybarn and see if they have cust. sev. or ikea. cause i know they do. good luck, tell us what you get.

Q: anyone know why the sphincter (haha i said sphincter ..snort) that is in your throat, not your tummy, but a lil below adams apple tenses up or spasms ???

A: That happens to me sometimes, like I can't swallow a simple bite of food. Not sure why, possibly just a nerve hit, some sort of 'throat hiccup' or something.

Q: What happened?

A:that's what's happening to me. my tummy is getting better but most of the time, or out of nowhere this feeling of having a tie on too tight happens and i feel like i cant calm it down. dont know what to do to fix it. it happens every time i sneeze. yucky.

A) No


Q) What is your favorite bible verse and why?

A) Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to help you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

When the God of the Universe says He's got plans for me and they are good plans and hopeful plans, then that is a truth I can hold onto even in the darkest times.

"I am blessed and highly favored of God , coming and going and in the city and the fields". When someone asks me "how are you doing?" guess what i say...

Every day we are presented with this choice. It speaks of a passionate commitment to God not just for me, but me standing at the head of my family as a commited christian and father no matter what live or that punk devil throws at us.

Q) What's left to do on your calendar for the rest of the year?

A1: I didn't have one favorite and it would have been a book to list them all and why, I did at one time come here to post one only to see you had done so

A: Waaaaayyyy too much We (Compassion Hospice) is still waiting on our initial survey so we can take paid patients - then it's off to the races I go to Austin once a month for meetings, Mel and I will be in Nashville the first week of Nov. for a seminar and visiting friends. I think I'll be in Vegas the week before for our annual trip to SEMA. I'll be photographing a few weddings. Lots lots more... too much

Q: How about you?

A) Completing all the tasks and errands that come with an out of town move. Getting two kids prepared for college in other states. I may be in Vegas the 2nd week in Oct. Haven't finalized those plans yet. I'll be flying with my mom to FL the week before Thanksgiving to get her down there for the winter. (My dad is driving early Nov). Planning a quiet Christmas/ New Year with my kids in CT. (and of course continuing to unpack boxes... )

A) not me if it won't wake a hibernating bear then I don't need it!

A: the limo ride around town cause we had nowhere to go but the hilton. it was fun. just to do it. is that terrible ?

A1) I love tea A3. I enjoy coffee in the morning and tea throughout the day. I love having a cup of tea at night. Are you selling it? Send me some info.

A2) I watched my daughter beam with happiness over her first apartment.

Q) Is anyone else disturbed that Halloween decorations are out in stores ALREADY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

A: No, since we're broke we don't shop in stores anymore

Q: ANyone else wish they were rich enough to shop and notice the decoration in their local mall?

A) You don't have to be rich to frequent a Walgreens... I am also extremely proud of the fact that I have tastefully decorated my new digs with treasures from Craigslist and Ebay. Quite within budget as well...

Q) Anyone ever eat Possum? I bought some at a country store in TN. The label said "Best eaten with an RC Cola and a Moon Pie"

A: never eaten possum but i have eaten racoon and it's pure nasty. i swear it's what rat would taste like.

A: Not me, for the most part. There was just so much of it, it was difficult to keep up with everything. We still have 5-6 episodes to watch
