i think (and this is just my take on it based on john) is .. they like us to sympathize with their misery. the simple solutions are right there but it FEEEELS so much better to have someone worry about their plight ... so poor babies .... wish something could help, if only angels from the land of healthy noses would come down and grant us some miracles ... poor guys

David has had huge issues with drainage - we've had him on several rx's of antibiotics and decongestants. This last group worked well, but he may still get tubes in his ears. He goes tomorrow for a checkup.

That may do the trick, I know a developed a mild dairy allergy in my twenties. He doesn't drink as much milk as he used to, he's eating/drinking more kid/adult stuff now Checkup went fine today, he still has a little fluid in his ears but doesn't need tubes so far \o/

\0/ Mike narrowly escaped the tubes, but I almost wish we went through with it. He had some tough times with the same thing and lots and lots of ear infections. He did eventually grew out of it, but it wasn't pretty. He had more trouble with the croup though, which hung onto him until well into his teens...

I water skied yesterday for the first time ever... thanks AmyLou and her hubby for inviting me It was pretty fun, on my last attempt I was actually able to stay up (after ~7-8 attempts) for quite a while (~10min? the longer I was up the more my arms ached ), until I was just too exhausted to go any longer Today I can barely move, tomorrow I'm calling in dead

i got both of my kids allergy tested really young, and then again when they needed to again. the immune sys. undergoes a change at 3 .. and then again, i forgot. we found out that alayna is allergic to nothing .. or nothing they usually test for, and cody has full blown crazy allergy to dairy and peanut. he was allergic to soy, corn, all tree nuts, and about 10 other things, but the biggies were dairy and peanuts. it is a scary thing, but once you know, then you make adjustments and there ya go.
we arent prone to runny noses, just poor immune systems. i am getting better tho, letting them play at parks, mcdonalds and gattitown. it's BIG for me to let them go and what do they do ? put thier MOUTHS on everything ..UGH!

My fingertips do hurt for some reason, I think it's the lack of a mouse on the home notebook, that trackpad rubs them sore And I'm still sore from Sunday's skiing

They're showing the "American in Paris" episode in Sex and the City - don't really like the show much, but it really makes me miss Paree Melanie and plan to take the kids once they get old enough to remember the trip

you gotta be a chick to appreciate sex and the city. it isnt my cup of tea, to the extreme some people do, i dont fall into the mold of any of the girls, as i am pretty much outta the mold. maybe the comic relief of the crew. never been to paris, but my husband lived in europe, and wants to go back.

You guys should really make an effort to go... if you can afford a trip to somewhere in the states that requires a flight, then you can afford a trip to Paris - just plan ahead, add Paris to your farewatcher on travelocity and you can go. Our first trip to Paris cost me < $1,000 (including 2 flight tickets and a room at the Hotel Du Louvre right across the courtyard from the Louvre, but NOT including the ring (I'm still paying for that part )). You have to plan and be ready to jump on a deal when you see them (our flights were $256 each and the hotel was ~70-90% off its usual price).

Cop: Sex With Hooker Wasn't Fun, It Was Work- Beaumont makes national headlines and it's these 2 eejits who thought they were doing their 'public service' by having sex multiple multiple multiple times with hookers to 'build a case' - freekin retards I have *no* idea how they think they're that far above the law.
