Background: our son was living in a house with others who were taking drugs. We think LSD is involved. He has been a bit delusional and incoherent. He had stated he had believed others had poisoned him. He has been not been able to eat. He has been a bit combative but usually he had been a happy person and stable with a stable job. He recently proposed marriage and found his girlfriend had been with others besides him. They now rejected eachother and all has fallen apart. His delusions come and go as does the agressiveness. Agressive with family members 'trying to tell him what to do" etc.

He left friday with his older brother for Hamilton Alabama. He got there on Saturday but abandoned his brother at his Uncles house and left in the middle of the night with 28 dollars. The police in Bastrop LA picked him up as he had abandoned his 74 Navy Blue Dodge Dart Mopar with headers. The engine vin and the body vin match. He told officers he was going to Texas. He was last seen at some convenience store in Bastrop LA. He has a little black lab mix puppy with him that goes by the name of Molly. There are guitars in the dodge dart.

He is 6ft. tall. Just shaved his head before he left. Blue eyes, jeans with holes in the knees. If anyone sees him msg us please.
He may still have the puppy with him. He claims to want to save the world. He has read Alister Crowley and Robert Anton Wilson and studies Kaballah and Astrology. We feel he had a mental breakdown because of the LSD etc.
He said he was headed to San Antonio Texas....He was walking...He may still be in Bastrop LA. We don't know where he is.

He loves his car and would not abandon it. He abandoned his brother and uncle and has a little black lab dog with him. The dogs name is Molly.

He is speaks coherently but at times becomes delusional, frantic and seems to be "stuck" ( this is the term that was used a long time ago about LSD trips). He talks now talks non stop about astrology and has a fixation with the band Tool and considers Maynard his father. He has a number of guitars with him. He is a musician. He may not remember his name or his birthday. He is fixated on the Cubs winning this year. He has prophetic delusions that cloud his perception. This only began recently.

The people he was around did and sold drugs including X, LSD, Peyote Buttons, ....etc. besides MJ. He is talented creative and left all his Amps etc. with our oldest son in Alabama over the weekend.
He claims the people he lived with poisoned him. He symbolically set his hair on fire on friday, he said to get rid of the people who lived with him. He since then shaved his head. He has studied symbols and symbolism etc. Stars and planets....astrology and kaballah.

I suppose the thought he could handle the drugs....but, as we all know that is a myth. They can and do eventually effect the brain and body.
We have hopes that he does not turn suicidal based on any delusions he may suffer. He needs to get in a hospital and find out what happened.
Up until a month ago he was a happy creative and loving person.

The Bastrop LA Sheriffs Dept. has not really said much other than they let him go because he was 21. They did not say what they did about his car which was a collectors car we gave Donny as a gift. As you can see from the pic. He would not just abandon it. He also would not have abandoned his brother. He set his hair on fire friday in his front yard...."symbolically".
He is speaking religous nonsense and saving the world. He just broke off a marriage engagement. He was not eating or sleeping. The officer said he was walking to Texas. Now, tell me how he is gonna walk to Texas ?
That is a long ways....

Just found out that he left last night at 7 pm with a full tank of gas headed for Texas!!

Delusions of LSD are not something to be toyed with!!

We think someone confronting him or intervening or preventing his freedom or movement or telling what he shoud do would not be a good thing. Unless it was to say call a relative, like a mom or brother or sister. It would be good if they could just tell us if they sighted him and the car and puppy.
Also, what city he is sighted in would be important to know. Thanks for the above comments it gets me thinking on what can be done in his behalf.
I would hate to see him strapped in restraints etc. Much less going in a different direction based on a comment made to him which surely could set off that senario, which is one I shudder to think about at this stage. We do not know exactly what form of psychosis may be complicating his thought processes at this point.
We would like to know if he is seen or if the car is found etc. It is important for us to locate where exactly he is or if he is stranded. AFAWK, he had only one tank of gas to get him to Texas. But, that is not enough to get him to Austin or San Antonio.
