We've worked together for the last few years and he is a decent guy, great dad, and a loving husband.

I went into work yesterday after a week off to find that he has been indefinitely suspended due to events that occurred last weekend. I don't want to give the devil any glory so I'll just say that the things I've heard are so out of character for him.

He's Jewish but not practicing in any way. I have witnessed to him many times. Please pray that God will deliver him from this situation and that it will be used to bring him to the saving knowledge of Jesus \0/.

He called me Saturday and told me his side of the story. It amazes me how the grapevine can totally change reality. Granted I'm sure he sees himself in a different light as well, but some of the statements that I heard were so out of character for him that I had a hard time believing them. He is going to keep me posted on what happens but thanked me for praying for him. I think God is working here. When I told him I was praying, I told him he needs to pray as well. He said, maybe, but he'll have his wife pray with me first.

Update... he sent me a note yesterday just checking in, saying he really can't discuss the incident, but that he would be coming back to work at the end of June. He's still not sure in what capacity or in which location, but at least he's coming back.

Please pray that his credibility isn't so damaged, and that he can no longer be a successful leader. As we've talked about so many times, perception is often mistaken for reality.
