that's a bummer. i am sure he will find someone else at the last minute. good lookin' guys always can. plus, going stag was the "thing" back when i was in h.s.

random thought .... how come when you come off of "vacation" you are so tired you can barely stand up ? is it the forcing yourself to relax or is it cause we are with family the whole time and have to be "on" the whole time, and then we get home and we are on the let down of it ??? hmmm. never have i come home from a vacaton rested. what's up with THAT ?

It's the stress of the new environment, chasing kids the whole time. The travel itself is also exhausting.

have you ever noticed that as you age and mature, it's becoming more clear that i know LESS about things in life, am less of an expert than i was when i was younger .. and that it's "okay" to admit not knowing what the heck you are doing, whether its raising kids, being a wife, or who you are? and the clarity that comes with the admission that you just have to take things as they come makes viewing life less foggy, but the field of vision is only about 50 yards in front of you. the more i grow, the less i know. is that totally ironic or what ?
