Almost everyone has something a little quirky in their lives...something they do or avoid, something silly that's kinda specific to them... I have sooo many of these things, but I feel close enough to all of you that I can share some ok...this may give waay to much info about me and my "ways", but here goes... 1) I read magazines from the back to the front. Not sure why that is or how I got started, but it makes for lotsa fun when an article was continued... 2) I only eat the potato chips that while they cooked, they have been folded over. On nights when I really wanna binge, I buy Cape Cod potato chips...almost ALL of theirs are folded 3) Every morning I get coffee from the same little shop. It's a drive thru, so I have to take what they make. They always give me one of those sippy cup tops, but I can't drink the coffee while the opening of the sippy cup is in the same spot as the seam of the cup... I have to spin the top before I'll drink it... OMG, I am a mess... ROFLOLOLOL Oh, and just to give you an idea of what my household is like...My daughter couldn't watch the rest of the One Day video cos she said that Louie's earlobes were just too big and they were freaking her out... HEHEHEHEHEHEHEH anyone else?

Hahaha...I thought he was kinda cute! Okay, what are some strange quirks I have? This could take hours...I'm one strange duck. I can't stand to sleep without noise, so before I go to bed, I have to turn an air conditioner fan on (even if it is freezing cold) just so I can sleep. I slept over at a friend's house who sleeps in dead silence...I could hear myself breathe and it freaked me out. I didn't sleep a wink. I set all my clocks 18 minutes fast. It's not like it really helps, cos I know they are 18 minutes fast...and I can't get up when my alarm goes off. I have to turn it off and lay there for another 20 minutes, so I always set my alarm for 20 minutes (plus 18) before I'm really supposed to get up. I guess it works cos when I wake up, I'm not in the frame of mind to do so much math, so to be safe, I just get ready and go downstairs when my clock says it's time to...and I usually make it out on time. I don't pour dressing on my salad. I have to put it on the side and dip my salad in my dressing...that way it's equally distributed on each bite. I am almost always cold when I'm out in public. I think it's psychological. Cos I'm rarely cold at home. It never fails...people around me are sweating, and I'm wearing my winter coat. Indoors even. And I have goosebumps and chills. Teeth chattering...maybe people just make me nervous? That's kinda wierd. I like Taco Bell too much. I start my car 10 minutes before I leave in the morning whether it's cold or not. ??? I don't eat the potato chips if they are folded. LOL I like candles...keep em all over the house and they're almost always lit. I can't sleep without a pillow between my knees and a pillow to hold onto when I'm on my side. I drink apple cider every morning instead of coffee, because caffine makes my tummy queasy. I leave the shower running when I'm takin' a bubble bath so that there's a "rain" effect...unless it's raining really hard outside...then I turn the lights off and open the window so I can hear it and smell it. I watch.... ..... ..... .....Survivor! To letcha know what my house is like?? When my kid goes potty, she always calls me in there when she's through and asks me if I want my surprise. When I say yes (and I have to in order to get her off the toilet), she stands up and points to the contents of the potty and very proudly says "well there's your surprise!!!...all this as she's sticking her butt up in the air....

rotf you are craaazyyyy I too read the paper backwards because I want to read the interesting stuff first: weather-tv-comics-entertainment-sports-news-editorial. I am very picky (ask my mom!); I don't eat broccoli or cauliflower except in wok. I hate corn, asparagus, egg plants, zucchini, beans, cabbage (only in rolls with meat and in cole slaw). I dont like majonnaise except in some specific dishes. ETC ETC ETC I'm allergic to hazel nuts except in chocolate bars *hehe* My fave dish is dessert!! I can never sleep the first night at a new place. It has to be dark and quiet - I've been known to take down and put a pillow over ticking clocks on several occasions..... I drink too much soft drinks - but only coke or pepsi max, none of that light crap. I hate it when people are cracking their fingers.... but it's ok for me to crack my toes ROTFLOLOL I can't stand people with too much perfume - its giving me sneezing attacks and sometimes asthma. I dont like talking to people who has no sense of humor. I can come up with stupid jokes in seconds. Sometimes I crack myself up aleina

You guys are pretty weird... I love you I: - like to read magazines back to front - like to irritate people who send long pm's by sending back one word replies - like pop tarts for breakfast (frosted brown sugar and cinnamon is my fav) - tho I usually have a protein drink - colored my hair a nice brown recently after being mistaken several times in the last month for someone much older (15-20 years older ) - have had basically the same haircut style since I graduated high school - ran the mile in high school - have gained ~60-70 lbs since high school - eat most anything recognizable as food by the western world (no to squid and sushi tho ) - spend more time than I should on the internet (prob 18 hours/day most days, tho I have been able to cut back recently) - prefer the "jock" label over the "nerd" label - have played trumpet for ~25 years, mostly very mediocre - used to be very good at video games - plugged in and turned on my tv for the first time in 2-3 months this past weekend - really want cable for my tv - went to college 13 years (have 2 degrees) and work a job that I coulda done right out of high school - drive too fast - cuss when I drive (unless someone is in the car with me) - ~3 people have ever heard me swear, ever - have been drunk once, with friends I trusted - really get a lot out of the 12-step program I am attending Sunday nights at my church - can sleep in total darkness or with every light on - procrastinate more than most more when I think of them

I must the the "~", cos I've heard ya cuss! Once...ever....it was barely audible, but I still heard it. LOL And you weren't drivin. Makes ya feel good, eh...it's such a big rarity to hear Allen swear that I would remember the one time it happened. Lot's of people have heard me swear...(not recently, but still more than I'd like to have heard). I like soggy cerial...can't eat it if it's crunchy. I type too much. I thought of one last night, but forgot. Since I'm such a creature of habit I'll prolly do it again tonite so I'll remember.

OMG, I hate soggy cereal...so much so that I'm spooning as the milk is pouring ROFL! My kids and I sometimes have burping contests They burp LOUD, I burp melodies... I love the trumpet...most horns actually, but my fav is the sax. when I eat M & M's I separate them into color pairs... Red and Green for Christmas and Orange and Brown for Autumn. The blue ones kinda thru a monkey wrench into my ocd behavior....HEHEHEHEHE, so paired them with Yellow just cos I can't eat one at a time...ppppffffffftttttttt. shades on the windows have GOT to be even, I cannot understand a person that has one pulled a little farther down then the other... I hate survivor, but I love fear facor...I would wuss out on ALL the food tests, but I like to watch to see who hurls... When I make mashed potatoes, every bit of peel MUST be off and all the "eyes" dug out...and corn on the cob cannot have ANY silk left stuck in the ears...I used to blame these things on my ex...looks like I'm busted now... to be continued...

skittles! That's what it was. I eat all the skittles together until I have nothing but red ones...then I eat the red ones one at a time. Can't stand fear factor. And I have to have the eyes dug out of the taters, but I love mashed tater's with a little bit of the peel still in there... I am late going back to work from lunch break because I'm a computerholic.

Well ok there is more to it than that. 1. I love kids cereal, lessee Booberry rates high on my list. 2. I can sleep standing up with the lights on or off but it has to be quiet.... 3. If I can 't do something right I would rather not do it at all. sounds good but there is way too much stuff that doesn't get done around me LOLOL 4. I will spend a week studying just to sound spontaneously authoritative on any given subject. 5. I would be a procrastinator but that takes too much effort. 6. Hey aleina I have had long and short hair too. From a military entrance burr to all the way to my belt. 7. I like animals too much. Like after forbiding my wife from picking up a stray its mine now....... 8. I will eat everithing in the fridge from time to time. when I get hungry it is not a pretty sight 9. When we go out to eat I have to get the "sampler" platter, its all about quantity not quality..... 10. I have CCM playing almost exclusively in my car but I can't stand the beat of the music. I am a die hard rocker...... 11. If I can't poke fun at my friends I feel deprived. 12. Coffee? Black no sugar and BRING IT ON, but starbucks is worse than "seaport" 13. Dad is a cajun.... nuff said. 14. What embie eats, I fish with........ 15. I would rather watch cartoons then regular programing 16. Hooked on sci-fi/fantasy books and movies 17. I will avoid being serious in a situation even to my own detriment. Probably should have been a clown for Ringling Brothers. 18. One of my best. I will argue with a stump. I will argue (not mad, but like debate) with anyone at any time over any subject. I will corner you and trap you in a room while I get my points across..... roflolol I will argue with other drivers, even when my windows are up, I will argue with my 9 month old (I get to put words in his mouth cuz he can't talk yet!!!) Challenge me on a subject and I will drool like Pavlov's dog. ps I will win... ROFLOLOL 19. I am a lifetime charter membership holder in the ignore it and it will go away club. (its a man thing) 20. I am a pack rat from the old school. (I have spare car parts for cars I don't even own anymore) (ps don't tell my wife)

I hate cars that have bumper stickers that say... I love mullets I am very sentimental...(Steve..leave the mental part alone ) I cry easily at... the end of every Wonder Years episode... (Michelle...it must be some transcending bond with those Savage brothers that we have... ) the end of any theatrical performance (or any live performance for that matter) when there's a curtain call and it involves people clapping. I think it's the emotion that the players must be feeling that moves me... when there is any compilation of music and video clips showing shining moments, or the passing of time...(the olympics highlights, the year end recaps...The movie Same Time next Year...) any broadcast that depicts a reunion...whether it's a movie, a sit-com, or even a flippin commercial...the joy and or tears when people embrace gets me every time... OMG..I am a weeping mess! I was born on the wrong continent. I have a palate for Far East flavors, and given the choice would choose Asian or Indian over anything else. In the face of Fight or Flight, I grow wings... In almost every topic of discussion I can find a song to relate it to. When my brother and I are together, we talk in songs... My brother and I were born on the same day, March 3,...3 years apart... 3-3-3 Something about the number 3 that I really like I love Boston...the city, the song, the band. Like Steve, while I love contemporary Christian artists, I am a rock 'n roller thru and thru... I have a heart for animals...if I could afford it, I would buy a huge parcel of land and open a reserve or a sanctuary for those abused and recovering. I will one day own a house at the ocean.
