My friend, on Saturday night, attempted suicide. He took so many drugs that the doctors were unable to pump his stomach. Right now, they were able to force charcoal down his throat and save him, but there may be lasting damage. Until further notice, I won't have access to a computer due to being in the hospital by his side. I've only come home to change and go to work. After work, I go back there and wait it out by his bedside.

I don't know how long he'll be in there, but he needs friends right now. Please pray for him, he's one of my closest friends.

His condition is stable. There was minimal damage to his liver and kidneys. For now, he's being transfered to a mental hospital not too far away from here. He's going willingly, so hopefully this will work.

Today is the first time I've slept in my bed in over a week.

Praying Mousie. How are things going?

I just visited Keir today. The place they have him in, well, it certainly wouldn't win any awards for being the best out there.

He's said the right things and I guess he's coming home. He says that the new medications are helping more.

He said this before. I just don't know this time.

I've never been hit so hard by something. This is just tearing me up. I want to get out of the state for a while, just go someplace and get away from everything. Even working has lost it's fun (and I seriously love my job).

Praying for you guys Mouse. You're a good friend he could use about now it sounds like. Encourage him and both of you guys seek out positive friends to be around. There's several groups the place he is staying can recommend I would imagine.
