That's disgusting.

As for mileage... It's a truck so I only get about 15 miles/gallon.

However, you can get CNG vehicles that get better mileage. There are alot of Honda Civics that have been converted to CNG.

There's more info on this site www.cngutah.com

I'm by no stretch an environmentalist, but this Ford truck is one of the greatest things I've ever done financially.

Wow, Joel, that's pretty cool.

(and yes, we know Nab can sometimes be grossly "winded" tongue )

I will own my car outright by the end of this summer. Didn't think I'd ever get out from under that note. I just replaced the thermostat today to the tune of $96.00. Between gas and keeping up with the repairs I need another job. smash

Can't you write it off on your tax return as travel expenses for your employment?

True, it only takes maybe 20 cents of every dollar off of your taxes tho... we still take an 80 cent hit

Well... you deduct the full amount, but if your tax rate is 20% or 30% it only reduces your tax payment by that much. $100 in gas can be deducted to save $20 on your tax if 20% is your tax rate.

The radio station I listen to is promoting 99 cents per gallon at a gas station on Wednesday morning from 6am to 8am. That should be a zoo on wheels... slap

Looks like prices are dropping a bit, we noticed a place in Austin offering 50 cents/gallon less for E85.

For those in Beaumont, you can find gas for 3.64 is several places:
