I imagine Garrett will be going home... very weak showing this week. Archuletta is very talented, but he almost gets on my nerves as much as Danny

So many of these guys look terrified of even being here and they're singing weak weak choices - got to agree with Simon - nothing culturally relevant. (We're watching the guys sing now, will catch the wimmen in a bit).

Watching tonight's show - yep, Garrett was sent home right off the start - that was fast

The other chicklet sent home, was good but bad song and weak performance. I dont understand why these folks come on stage and sing ballads, and hope a high note at the end of the song will make it worth it. no energy, no personality, bad songs, no focus.
I still think Australian guy(Michael?) and the Asia'h girl are strong also like other black girl with somewhat afro hair... and Carly....just cant get past her...SHe is memorable even when she isnt great.
Paula and Randy looked like to old people trying to be young. I would not have been surprised to have seen randy at the end of the video with a CANE !!! Paula, just couldnt do the moves of yesteryear either...anyway...

I think it'll get better as the weak ones are weeded out. It usually does, I can't remember any of the winners from the last 3-4 years blowing us away the first couple weeks. It's hard to make a 60's song "current".

Agree with Nabster on song choice - why in the world do they pick such stupid songs?!?! "Where the Boys Are"? It would be a horrendous choice even if she could sing it in tune

Syesha (the one you guys are talking about) - she can sing and perform - she has the inside track to the top 3 girls.

I like the little Ramilee (sp?) girl. I think she is adorable.

sYESsha has nice legs and cant hit anything but loud notes. ... really not worthy.

Who do you think is going home this week? I like Luke, but his voice is a bit weird - great range but not strong. I think Jason Yeager may go home - didn't do very well. The guy with the dreads is just ok too. And Danny still gets on my nerves, good voice but everything else bothers me.

I thought Carly was great and even though they didn't like her all that much, I still thought Ramiele was good.

I am quite pleased that the Mormons are representing themselves well.

Brooke stunk last week but this week definitely found her vibe and Archuleta is the best one there.

I guess since I won't get to vote for a Mormon in the Presidential election, I guess I'll just have to happy to vote for one (or two) on American Idol.

I love the way Archuletta singss, but I am growing to despise his boyish embarrassment. A star should shape up and begin acting like one....wish he would.
