I was totally alone today. That hasn't happened in a long time. After I finished catching up on chores around the house I ran around and got the car serviced, took the dog to the vet, went to the bank and the post office, bought some goodies for tonight's dinner and took in a movie.
Did anyone see the movie Crash? I thought it was sooo good. My family usually picks the films we watch so I saw something that I had wanted to see. I wasn't disappointed.
On my way home, I stopped for a haircut and bought a couple new blouses and a few new accessories.
When I got home, I prepared some shrimp and asparagus risotto, but with an Indian flare to it and had a spinach salad with mozz and plum tomatoes.
Aaaaaahhhhhhhh.
I've cleaned up the dishes and I'm heading out to a meeting, but on my way I'm stopping for an iced mocha latte and possibly a frozen yogurt on the way home.
It is all about me today.
