Hey .. I want to get everyone's opinion about all this christmas stuff starting right after halloween ? my neighbor across the alley from me put his TREE up last weekend ! Am I missing something ? What about tradition ?

Traditionally I thought it was supposed to be the day after Thanksgiving...but what do I know? Billy's been turning the Christmas lights on randomly all year...

Which would imply that they are STILL UP???

Hehehehehe...I hate that Thanksgiving is just passed over. Halloween costumes are up for a month before Halloween and Christmas decorations begin going up at the same time. Then you have one or two rows of Thanksgiving items... WTH? I LOVE Thanksgiving, and it doesn't get it's fair shake.

yeah, i know. people think they are celebrating by keeping their yard scarecrows up. like what is that ? something in btwn halloween and fall kinda ???

random thought ...... anyone else ever wonder, after you are done cleaning your fan blades ..... those things are CONSTANTLY moving ... so how the heck does that much gunk get stuck on there ? isnt that defying the laws of physics ??

You wouldn't know if you didn't turn it off I clean them when a chunk falls off and hits the snoring dog.

I clean them when company is coming... ROFL!

(I'm way too short to worry about me and my family breathing in or eating dust and dirt and grime that falls off fan blades and into unsuspecting bowls of food that might be on the dinner table already...)

Today was Melanie and David's due date

OK, so why should a mom get upset and ground someone when they randomly stroll in at 2am (without the sense of even a phone call mind you) and then complain they are hungry when they just came from a so-called Christmas party?

Who says they were eating at this so-called Christmas party?

Oh well, the mom served all these wonderful desserts, but of course, Rachel wouldn't eat anything...

Oh, and she broke up with her boyfriend...

Well how can you expect her to eat after that... sheesh

She was thrilled to break up with him...He wanted to break up with her too... Silly teenagers...

So, in case you didn't get it...Baylor is out. She's looking into colleges on this coast...specifically CT and MA...

I'm never gonna get back to someplace warm... (It is all about me...BTW)

She decided against Baylor?

Why is she wanting to stay close to home? Another boy already in the picture?

mmmm hmmmm... well, she says not, she actually said she doesn't want to leave me all alone... (as if... )

I think the idea of being that far away from everyone was a LOT scary to her. If I could make all her decisions for her, I would jump in and do so cos I don't want her to go into her choice of career...(social services...she wants to open up a teen center), but I can't. I have to let her make her choices...(silently praying and carefully "suggesting") and see where it goes...
