Good, recharge those batteries. I'm still debating on the dinner for tomorrow night... Can we get our little rolling eyeballs back?

yuck. see, being the germ phob i am, i hated every sniffle and cold. i am getting better though.
alayna just came down with pneumonia. last friday, before we were due to get on the road to beaumont, she started running fever. her fever got up to 104.3 by sunday night and all she had was a little cough. so xrays said she is with pneumonia. it seemed to come out of nowhere! now we are bouncing around anitbiotics, nebulizer treatments and alternating what seems to be TONS of tylenol and motrin. i am doing my best to keep her out of the hospital. oh yeah, she's had two injections of anitbiotic as well!
yall say a little prayer for her. and if anyone knows more about pneumonia, lemme know how to PREVENT this in the future!

OK, if I don't find out what I got on my term paper I am just going to bust. We had a "team" term paper due on Tuesday, 20 pages, 20 references, and a Summary Power point pres. It carries a weight of 200 points against a total possible 375 for the course. One of my teammates went into labor and obviously couldn't help with the final draft and my other team mate is so sweet she never wants to criticize anything. This prof is awful and has ZERO tolerance for plagiarism, unintentional or not. I am terrified that I submitted a paper that doesn't conform in some way to what she's expecting. There are only 3 teams. One team had their grades posted already this morning. The other two of us are sweating bullets. I don't think it's fair to have your final grade based on a team effort. I think it should be individual work so you don't take anyone down with you. OMG I am so tweaked right now... OK...SO I found out... We got a 100 on the Power Point but only a 75 on the paper Of course she didn't post any feedback so we don't know why we only got a 75, but I am SO thankful that it's not a zero (Thank You Jesus \0/ ). And I still got an A for the course...

Congrats, but this is supposed to be a complaint thread Team work for a grade usually means 1-2 people do all the work and the rest get credit - good or bad.

This is really petty... but I do not like reading threads that are 62 pages long to figure out what it is about THEN get caught up in it and ALMOST read ALL 62 pages WHEN I realize I will be here all night.
I really dislike when I am just drifting off to sleep and someone or something disturbs me. I had a long day and wanted (wanted... needed and was over come with the need) for a nap. I drift off on the couch... son and hubby getting into a debate over physics... then hubby turns on broadway music channel where Julie Andrews is singing lines to a play the sounds VERY close to nails going down a chalk board. I move to bed room. I start to drift... feel that wonderful sensation of floating on billowing clouds, when a hole forms and I fall to the shrill mile a minute speech of my daughter coming in the garage. All I wanted was a 45 minute nap. lol

You don't have to read all 62 pages to jump in, but if you're ever having a hard time sleeping, just try reading the 62 pages

What's up with telemarketers texting nonsense to our cell phones at 10:30 at night??!! Isn't that illegal??? Stupid stuff too. The subject line will say: Hey, it's (insert common name here, in this case it was Lisa, and who DOESN'T know a Lisa, right?). So the subject line makes it look like it's from somebody you know, and then you open it up and it's absolute GIBBERISH like: "market value is up and the winds of change are blowing; get it while it's hot. spoon diving is the way to go."
WTHECK?? At 10:30pm??
I get those nonsensical messages all the time in my junk mail box, that say things like: The penguins took a look at literature's finest today, and what an hour for taking a ride on the expressway. Stocks drop and Aunt Mildred called to warn me that pine needles really are hard to clean from the side of the bed. Painting by numbers is easier than oil paint, but it's probably safer to sketch now with the paper industry on the rise. Whether you enjoy eggs or toast is really none of my business, but I'd say it's about time for us to check on the screen door, right?
I still haven't figured out what they mean, but I know it's got to be some sort of scam, and if you open them, they obviously let the sender know that they've reached a valid email addy, and they sell your email to other spammers...but text messaging on the phone is twenty times more annoying, especially late at night!!!

You should be able to register your cell numbers at: https://donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspxThe FCC announced million$ in fines today for companies/people who violate the do not call list.

It took me all week to finish a case for my finance class. And this was just the weekly assignment, I still have a project due for Sunday (nope...not started yet) I was so stoked thinking OK, one week left, just the final exam...until he posts a final project. Another case.... similar to the one that just took me all week to prepare...
