Michael, I thought was good, tho the judges didn't like it.

Brooke - what was that? not good at all.

David C was pretty kickin, Carly was a bit boring.

Nobody really stood out this week, bad idea to repeat the beatles again.

Syesha and Carly are my two faves now. Syesha was really good I thought. And so was carly. Judges were the ones who were weird tonite.
David (rocker) was really good too - lots of charisma and like Daughtry , just rocks everytime and sounds good to boot.
Kristy, amanda, Ramiel- just cant win. Chikezie, is good but strangely enough I dont think he can win either.
American Idol. American Idol. Who can be seen as a pop star in the field of incredible existing album artists already and carve their niche in the music industry?

Carly, for sure. Syesha would be like 100 others R & B vocalists. David, could be like a daughtry (although not as good) and Michael could sell records but not double platinum like say , Kelly Clarkson.
Brooke could do the crossover thing and sell country and pop, but
I just dont know if she has the real vocal skills like say , kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood.

Gosh, I think so too... She was my least favorite, but I'm tired of the same old from Amanda as well. She could probably sell out a bar like she said, but I don't see her as the American Idol at all...

I don't know, I haven't listened to her for several weeks now Brooke was pretty bad too, but most everyone was bad this week.

HELP!!!!! I'm being American Idol'd to death!!!!!!!!! The only thing more annoying than the show itself is the fast forwarding........... When is this season over?????? Of course that doesn't matter because the Bachelor just started. Ugh, it never stops.

amanda was a true champion in her composure last nite. my respect has grown for her. Although she has no business in the world of vocal performance, she is unique and has chutzpah. So kudos for her.
kristy lee needs to take on a theme song from Bon Jovi - Living on a prayer..." She is just awful. Every year one stinker continues on and then goes on tour and they just are pure and plain "karaoke".
I am happy for Chikezie and for Brooke.
On a side note - Kellie Pickler has really come of age on her stage presence and was quote good I thought.

I'm not one for reality shows, AI is my only one. Now give me a good "House" or some of the new shows... Canterbury's Law and New Amsterdam and I am right there.

Also, I've become an HGTV junkie. I was certain they would be knocking on my door to give me the 2008 Dream Home, but alas, there must have been too much snow.

I noticed Ryan's comment, I think he made a similar comment when she sang last year (an appearance where she seemed to have even more of Nabster's "stage presence", if I remember right ). She definitely had more country twang Wednesday night than any other time I've heard her sing.

As for TV, I watch a lot I guess, but really don't care if I miss any particular show... I like CBS on Monday nights (HIMYM, BB, etc), NBC on Thursdays (MNIE, The Office) and Grey's/Boston Legal/MIT on ABC. If I miss them no big whoop, I prefer to watch them on tivo anyways and skip the commercials Mel doesn't like it when I re-wind a spot I miss

Anyways, I still think David H should have taken Kristy's or Jason's spot in the top 10, they're both just ok. If Kristy was brunette and/or Jason had normal hair neither would still be up there.
