It's been a while since I was last on here, just so little time, so much has happened in this time, but yet nothing much has changed. I'm here in Fort Lauderdal, FL once again for another funeral. Last time it was my father called home to be with his maker, this time it's my sister. At the ripe age of 52 she valiantly fought lung cancer for almost 6 months and lost the battle on Monday. Our mother, myself and 3 of her other sisters were able to be with her during this time along with her husband and her best friend. Though we are all saddened by her passing we are assured that she has a place at the side of her maker and is walking on streets of gold, her ravaged body is once again whole and she is free of pain and suffering and the other trivalities of this world we live in. Tomorrow will be her funeral at 3 pm so if you get a chance pray for her and for the family, that we will find the strength to get through the day and the days to follow.
