STEEL MAGNOLIAS : Shelby: I would rather have thirty minutes of wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special.
Ouiser:I'm not crazy,M'Lynn. I've just been in a bad mood for 40 years.
Truvy: There's so much static electricity around here I attract everything but boys and money.
Truvy:I'm just yelling at my husband, I can do that anytime.
Truvy: He's got a new girlfriend and the nicest thing I can say about her is all her tattoos are spelled correctly.

Clairee: Janice Van Meter got hit with a baseball. It was fabulous. Truvy: Was she hurt? Clairee: I doubt it. She got hit in the head.
Truvy: In a good shoe, I wear a size six, but a seven feels so good, I buy a size eight.
Truvy: Time marches on and sooner or later you realize it is marchin' across your face.
Ouiser: I do not see plays, because I can nap at home for free. And I don't see movies 'cause they're trash, and they got nothin' but naked people in 'em! And I don't read books, 'cause if they're any good, they're gonna make 'em into a miniseries.
Annelle Dupuy Desoto: Miss Truvy, I promise that my personal tragedy will not interfere with my ability to do good hair.
Clairee Belcher: Well, you know what they say: if you don't have anything nice to say about anybody, come sit by me!
Ouiser Boudreaux: You are too twisted for color TV!
Clairee Belcher: That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.
Clairee Belcher: The only thing that separates us from the animals is our ability to accessorize.
Ouiser: You are evil, and you must be destroyed.
Clairee Belcher: Mother Nature's taking care of that faster than you could.
Clairee Belcher: Ousier's never done a religious thing in her life.
Ouiser Boudreaux: Now that is not true. When I was in school, a bunch of my friends and I would dress up as nuns and go bar-hoppin'.
Ouiser: A dirty mind is a terrible thing to waste.
Truvy Jones: You are playin' hard to get!
Clairee Belcher: At her age, she should be playin' beat the clock.

Tommy: Let's think about this for a sec, Ted, why do they put a guarantee on a box? Hmm, very interesting. Ted: I'm listening. Tommy: Here's how I see it. A guy puts a guarantee on the box 'cause he wants you to fell all warm and toasty inside. Ted: Yeah, makes a man feel good. Tommy: 'Course it does. Ya think if you leave that box under your pillow at night, the Guarantee Fairy might come by and leave a quarter. Ted: What's your point? Tommy: The point is, how do you know the Guarantee Fairy isn't a crazy glue sniffer? "Building model airplanes" says the little fairy, but we're not buying it. Next thing you know, there's money missing off the dresser and your daughter's knocked up, I seen it a hundred times. Ted: But why do they put a guarantee on the box then? Tommy: Because they know all they solda ya was a guaranteed piece of ****. That's all it is. Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time. But for right now, for your sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality item from me. Ted: Hmm. Okay, I'll buy from you. Tommy: Well I...What?! - Tommy Boy

From the 24 hour marathon of "A Christmas Story" Ralphie (narrating as an adult): Some men are Baptists, others Catholics, my father was an oldsmobile man. Mr. Parker: That son of a %&(^% would freeze up in the middle of summer on the equator!!!! Mother: Little pitchers! Mr. Parker: Thanks....hold it!! [the furnace conks out] Mr. Parker: It's a clinker!!!! That blasted stupid furnace dadgummit!!! [he walks down a few stairs and falls the rest of the way down] Mr. Parker: [censored] skates!! (coughing) Oh for cripes sake open up the damper will ya?!! Who the hell turned it all the way down?! AGAIN!!! Oh blasted!!! Ralphie (narrating as an adult): In the heat of battle my father wove a tapestry of obscenities that as far as we know is still hanging in space over Lake Michigan.
