I truly think that David A was the better singer tonight. (mormon or not... tongue )

I think it will work out the best for both of the David's if David A wins. smile

Watching it now, round 1 did go to David A, I think he chose better to start with a slower song smile

Round 2 - Archuletta - song choice for David A is better for his voice.

I'd say Round 3 was a tie - both were good.

Add the kiddie vote and David A may have pulled this one off smile

Anyone on TIVO got a hiccup at 9pm - exactly when Ryan said the last name of the winner - we're still not sure who won tongue

Interesting, I've been singing Dave C's praises for a few weeks now and Archuletta sang better last night. I thought for sure he won.

The worst part of the show tonight was the top 12 singing - some of those people were voted off for good reason tongue The songs sounded like they needed more rehearsal.

Loved the Glady Knight and the Pips song - I heard her sing at fundraiser years back and she still rocks.

George Michael - what meds did he take/has he taken to get on the stage tonight? He was great in the 90's but has dropped far and hard since then. Mannerisms were just weird - substituting drama for talent.

Most of the other guest stars - all past their prime and struggling to sing as of old. Seal just doesn't sound good live. Graham Nash was good, Bryan Adams struggled to hit his notes.

My Best Friend For-Ever... DAH DAH DAH DAH DA DA DA DAH DAA-AA-AHH!! :ROCKBAND:

...Let my P-ple Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo laugh

Gladys Knight was great and she actually picked out who she wanted for her "Pips". thumbsup

Yeah G.M. confused He actually added a disclaimer at the end of his song saying "hopefully by then I'll be over this cold..." I'm not thinkin it was medical... slap

My favorite was David C with ZZ Top. I think they are Timeless. I'm trying to get tickets to when they come around here. I always loved them. jumpy

Donna Summer can still sing her butt off. Which is now large and in charge... SHe lives in Nashville under a pseudo name.
Anyway. great show overall. Entertaining as all get out.
I am so glad for DC he rocked, he was better than the young Archuletta. Dynamic and emotional-highs and lows. SOft and loud, He can croon and he can rock.
We watched thye replay of both and Archuletta wasnt as good as I thought, and Cook was better than I thought.
Simon apologizing was humbling to see, and then when David C won and Simon had predicted a knockout by Archuletta- his face and look was hilarious, as in "BOy i really got it wrong"...too funny.

Randy thought it was Valentines or red velvet cake night, and Paula was nicely attired...(ahem). Syesha looked great, it was nice to see Hernandez again...and

LEt my people go...

What am I gonna do now for 9 months till its on again....?

I appreciate that even if a Mormon couldn't win, we got to have several performances by Mormons.

Brooke White

David Archuleta

&

Gladys Knight

Gladys is mormon? I didn't think the 'cursed' could join the true church?

"So You Think You Can Dance" starts tonight - the tryouts are usually hilarious laugh As they narrow the competitors down there are some amazing athletes/artists competing.
