I may be jumping the gun a bit, but it looks to me like McCain and Obama. *sigh*

I saw Barack in an interview with Matt Lauer today and he said that he's prepared for Republican pressure in the General Election after fighting the "Clinton Machine" and their low blows in the primary.

Do you think McCain can beat Obama?

Maybe, it's not quite over in the Democratic Primary - Hillary is still within striking distance and still leads in Texas and Ohio - 2 huge states on March 4th.

He spoke about 20 minutes total and managed to say something to insult everyone and make everyone happy. I might vote for him after all.

My goodness they treat Obama like the Messiah. Whatever he says they cheer, he could read the phone book and get the same response.

yeah. he seems to have that effect. but when hilary talks, (and this is a pet peve) and the audience starts to applaud before she is done, she doesnt "pause" like the rest of the speakers, to let the applause pass, she starts talking LOUDER and over the applause, like "shut up i am not done" ... it's such a control thing. irritates me. call me pet peve.

She is very much a control freak. And a power hungry one at that. I am interested to see how her personal life shakes up if/when she does not get the nod from the party and when she does not win the presidency.

They canceled Bill's visit to Beaumont Sunday, tho I hear Hillary's gonna try to make it at some point by Tuesday.

OBAMA'S NAFTA DOUBLE-TALK confirmed. "After reporting on Barack Obama's dance with the Canadians on NAFTA yesterday, Canadian broadcaster CTV got accused of perpetrating a smear against the Democratic front-runner. They insisted that Obama meant every word he said about overturning the free-trade treaty, and that no one had contacted the Canadian diplomatic corps to reassure them that it was mere demagoguery. At an event Monday at George Washington University, a moderator asked four House Democrats if any thought it "practical" or a "good idea" to reopen and renegotiate Nafta. The crew, led by Democratic Caucus head Rahm Emanuel, stared uneasily into the middle distance before submitting "no."

"We'll see if word gets to Ohio," joked the moderator.

It didn't, and that's got some grown-ups in the party nervous.

Alas, the "grown-ups" aren't running for President.

I think Bill has caused Hillary so much humiliation, and I think he's actually hurt her campagin in certain areas. I think she might attribute some of that blame to him and give him the boot. But you're right, some people stick it out "for better or worse".

It's helped in other areas, sympathy from women voters - helped in New Hampshire and will probably help this Tuesday.

Some more interesting bits on Obama's views on some basic constitutional rights:

HMM: "I suggest that any GOP voter in TX or OH take a Democrat ballot and vote for Hillary."

She's in Beaumont now, how are people supposed to show up if we don't know they're coming?

So it looks like Hillary is still hanging in there.

Just cant vote for Barack. He is not who you think he is. A smell a rat.
Hillary...whatever. Cant vote for anyone married to or related to or anything to Bill Clinton. On top of that she is a liberal socialist.
Who else is there...ron paul? nader? Uhhh, Jesse Ventura ?
Ted NUgent?
Our country is lacking crackejack leaders who are able to be elected.
