Discussed on the presidential debates last night when Huckabee was asked his thoughts, Mike discussed this scripture in Ephesians 5:



I'm sure we've probably discussed this before, but it seemed to cause a bit of uproar on the web today. Did you watch it?

I saw it and didn't think much of it.

Some people were making a big deal of Huckabee's interpretation of the scripture - that it meant men and women were supposed to submit to each other.

We've all heard the scripture, but what we don't usually hear is more of the context of the scripture. The previous verse is:

"Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ."

Like Huckabee or not, I just thought it was interesting that scripture so common could so easily be taken out of context by so many.
