I got to propose to Wendy in front of the whole congregation. Pastor called me/us up to the platform on a well planned ruse. I introduced her to the 500 plus people who were there then talked about what a neat coincidence it was that this was the first Sunday in '08 and that "8" in scripture is indicative of "new beginnings" I told her that I would like to have a new beginning with her turned her towards the screen and this popped upon the 5 foot by 8 foot overhead.




I dropped to a knee, fought getting the ring out of my front pocket and asked her to marry me.

In a moment of weakness she said yes.....





I am waiting on pics from the photog I had stashed on the front row and the video from the church as well.

We started our realtionship with prayer. I could not think of a better place to propose.

1. Marriage is a Holy thing.
2. No better place to commit than in front of people who know about covenants.
3. In front of 500 witnesess to show my sincerity and that she has my heart publicly as well as privately.
4. A months worth of planning and secrecy so that she may know the level of my commitment.

IT is 7 workbooks 4 lessons each, and will really open up to you the depth of the covenant of marriage as related to abraham and God in Genesis. It works through adam and eve and other scriptures a s well. It discusses so many important things I wish I had known 20 years ago.
It will make any foundation better, and communication greater.
But for now... I am rejoicing with you my friend!
