OK, I watch wayyy too much TV - who else is with me?

Good thing we have tivo - we recorded 7 shows just tonight:

- How I Met Your Mother - probably Mel and my favorite. ( http://www.slapcountdown.com/ - plays a part between Marshall and Barney at some point this season )

- Big Bang Theory - New series, previews look pretty funny, we'll try to catch it later tonight.

- Two and a Half Men - Emmy-winning comedy, Charlie and Duckie are hilarious

- Rules of Engagement - pretty funny, we watch it after the others just because.

- Chuck - Spy comedy - looks funny - pilot is tonight - we'll give it a chance

- The Bachelor - the first episode is usually the funniest - it kinda gets predictable after that

And that doesn't even count Monday Night Football

Tuesday nights we love Boston Legal...

CSI -- I'm really dreading this premier; if they kill Sarah, I swear I'll never watch it again. I almost cry every time the play the commercial and have that song in the background "A Woman's Work".

Boston Legal on Tuesdays, I wanna tivo "Private Practice" on wednesday nights - the red head from 'grey's anatomy' moved to southern california - looks like lots of good actors on it.

Melanie likes "Army Wives" - it's pretty good

I loved Army Wives, but that's off for now right? I also loved Damages, and I think that's still on...except I fell asleep last night

Private Practice does look good. When is that on?

Wednesday nights at 8pm CST on ABC. We tivo'ed it. It was pretty good, tho, from a medical standpoint it was pretty silly (like Grey's). If they stick to the relationship stuff and skim the medical it should be a good show - there's some good actors.

Now - the best show on Wednesday nights is "Kitchen Nightmares" - a show by Gordon Ramsey. I saw it tonight (8pm cst on Fox). It was actually better than I expected - great endings. I like restaurants and kitchens and food tho. Very interesting how he can take a restaurant run so badly (that you *know* means the world to the family running it) and turn it around so well for them and give them the tools to keep it running well.

I'm watching "Chuck" from last night (NBC) right now - it really looks original and funny so far, might be a keeper

Grey's Anatomy (Meredith bugs me with her self-centered whining )

and a new one:

Big Shots - good actors, seems like a men's "desperate housewives"

Friday nights is terrible tv - luckily "Friday Night Lights" starts next friday - Mel and I both like it

I watched bits and pieces of lots of shows. I liked "Life" on one of those nights. Exonerated cop off a life sentence after serving 7 years for a murder of which he was set up and now returning to the job. Pretty good dealing with lots of issues.

I like FNL's too

Grey's was bittersweet to me. I wanted George to tell Izzie... LOOK I'M MARRIED...GET OVER IT...

ugh... grey's is getting on my nerves and I have't even watched the first episode this season - these are supposed to be people smart enough to be MD's but they are clueless about life in general. I can suspend imagination long enough to believe someone can fly, but act in a logical manner or I'm watching something else.

OK, watched it - better than I expected - the new people should provide a nice change and the old characters aren't (all) in the same old same old...

I wanted to watch Cold Case last night (another favorite) but I didn't get home from work until really late (end of Q3) then I had homework. Boy do I have a post for the "a day in a life" thread.

Just record it on your tiv... oh, that's right.

My favorite new show of the season so far is 'Chuck' - Mondays on NBC - different and funny.
