I still love the whole "Road to OneDay" CD... my favorites on there are "Holy Roar" and "Jesus, Lover of My Soul"... I get chills just typing the names...

I LOVE the Holy Roar song....awesome.

Well I love all the passion cds but there is one cd called 7:22 worship i think and it has the song called Breathe. I first heard it at Passion in Austin and it brought tears to my eyes then and it still does.

I like most of the contemporary praise and worship stuff. As far as a favorite, I don't have one but if I did it would be "Shout to the Lord". There is one p&w cd I particularly like called "enter the worship circle" by 100 portraits and waterdeep.it has alot of awesome orginal stuff on it.

If anyone is aware, Creed the group that is mainstream but sings along the christian lines (and I have seen them in interview and they are trying to spread the word), it is good for alternative stuff.

But my personal favorite, and I am not sure who wrote it or how you can get to hear it (except when my sister comes in she plays it on the guitar) is one I hear in church growing up called "Here I am Lord". It is slow and easy to sing but brings tears to your eyes. I remember crying when we used to sing it in church as a kid. We don't do much open crying in our church ... BUT I did it anyway ....... music seems to do that ..

If at first you don't succeed, try and try again ...

I went to the Creed websight quite a while ago because I wondered about their lyrics...they seemed to sorta flirt around the borders of christianity. Especially "Higher" which I really enjoyed... I read something that really turned me off to them...in an interview, someone asked them if they were a Christian band to which they profusely denyed. "Christian bands have an agenda. Someof the guys in our group may be Christian, but we do not classify ourselves as a Christian band as we really have no such agenda".... I don't know if they have since changed their minds and are now really making it a point to step our or not...and I don't have a problem with a Christian band crossing into the secualr circle. I don't even have a problem with a Christian band who sings a few secular songs with the intent of trying to get into the mainstream and lure people in...but I do have a problem with panty waist Christians who are too chicken to admit that they have an agenda. We don't have time to play games....I know I'll prolly get a good tongue lashing for this one, but it's just the way I feel about the situation. It's not the style of music that bothers me...it's content. And the way the musicians carry themselves. You're either for God you aren't . Can't live the best of both worlds...Go out into the world and spread the gospel....Don't be conformed to the world, tho...And don't be ashamed of the gospel ofChrist. Not my words....HIS. I could go ooooonnnnn and on about this,but I think I better shut my mouth 'fore I get into trouble!
