anyone really watch these award shows? I dont care if stars dress tacky, although amusing. folks will still go out and try to wear that outfit because it made publicity, or who wore it on tv. too many commercials, the wrong winners talk too much. some ive never heard of, and werent playing at any local theater as far as foreign films. If on cable later, may see it, but wont be renting unless i know the stars or like the plot. or both. dependson my mood if i do watch award show, or nothing on cable. hehehe also even my fave music sounds different live, prefer cd or radio -less lip syncing. hehehe [;

i enjoy watching the oscars cause it gives you a new lsit of movies you might not have thought to pick out at the renting place that you will now that they won or are nominated. it is pretty cool the way they did it this year, handing out oscars in the audience. funny .. chris rock ... sais next year they would hand them out in the parking lot!

i admit, did see much of it,. looks like yur fave won. mil. dollar baby. [teasing]. missed it. oh well. prefer comedy, then horror[not real life scary, but fiction such as aliens etc]. drama last on my to do list. i tend to create my own in real life. yikes!

Didn't catch it. Chris Rock is pretty funny. He was in a cute movie 'Down to Earth', remake of 'Heaven can Wait'.

Chris Rock bombed... bad political humor and downright put the oscars in the Hood if you ask many critics. He is a crass comedian who CANNOT be funny unless he curses incessantly to get a shock out of people. I dont care for him at all....eveer....period.....he is a waste of time on tv......loser.....punk.....and general good for nuttin actor/comedian.............do i make myself clear? hehehehehehehe

I heard chris rock do a bit on gun control that has zero cussing in it and was really funny , it goes as follows , " Man we don't need no gun control , what we need is bullet control , that's right , i think all bullets should cost 5,000 dollars , you know why , cuz if all bullets cost 5,000 dollars , there would be no more inoccent by-standers , somebody get shot people would say 'man he must a done something , they put 55,000 dollars worth of bullets in him! ', people would be like , 'man i would blow youre head off , if i could afford it . i'll get me a job, start saving up , and in a couple of years your a dead man! you better hope i don't get no bullets on layaway!

if the preceeding message was really unfunny , it's probably because you can't really make youre hand shaped like a gun on a post, therfore losing alot of the inflection.
