I hate reality shows. The only one I ever watch is AI.

Give me a good mystery or Psychological thriller...I love those.

I'm also a crime/medical drama addict... (CSI's, Without a Trace, Cold Case, and then my favorite House) laugh

I don't like any of those - they're way too far off reality, if I want fantasy I'll turn on something else tongue

Just got back from one of the "Weekend to Remember" marriage conferences - it's been a good weekend thumbsup

speaking of reality shows, on CMT, there have been a few really interesting ones. I am now stuck on "ultimate coyote ugly search" and i watched the whole "ultimate american cowboy" (or something like that. Pretty nifty watching really cute guys "break" a wild colt in 45 minutes. Super nifty, but i think i liked it a bit more than my husband did. oh well.

so i think you can dance is about to come on again. Reality shows sometimes remind me of how wonderfully boring and borderline normal my life is.

I sold my first "Thing" on eBay today. I decided to recoup some funds and sell some texts that I wouldn't use in the future. My first book sold for $45.50 yay I have 10 more books up there now, but so far only 1 is active. We'll see. It was so cool tho, I was so excited. My gf from FL got me interested. She says she sells everything and anything on there. She sits and looks around her house for things to sell and she makes a fortune. I have to admit it was simple. I have a Paypal account that the buyers deposit into and then I transfer that money to my own bank account. laugh

Ebay's fees have went up so much in the last year, it gets very expensive if you don't sell most of what you put online. Then you have to deal with eeejits who bid without actually reading the description. no

I bought and sold astros tickets on there last year - made me not want to do so anytime soon again smash

I can see that happening. My buyer waited till the last minute then needed the book by tomorrow (Wednesday) She paid $8.50 for shipping, which was priority 2-3 day. Overnight was going to be $21.00. I sent it priority and hoped she get it for Wed. We'll see what my rating ends up being... LOL!

I've put in big bold letters:

You are bidding on one (1) ticket

And they still turned me into the ebay police for not sending them 2 tickets smash

Your rating must be good... tongue

The weather here the last few days was glorious. Forecast is the same for today. High 70's, dry, windy, and sunny. Beginning tomorrow we have 4 days of T-storms.

I don't want to do anything today but enjoy the outside. Plant flowers and sit in the sun. Beginning tomorrow I will have to go back to work till Saturday when we leave for FL. So I won't be able to do anything in my house then either.

Such a shame...the dust bunnies will have to play on their own... laugh

Well, the closing is July 2 and my folks will be down (hopefully) in Dec through Feb. I have to wait till Michael gets through his senior year (next year) and into college before I can think of moving. I hope to get here as soon as possible.

So...I found a new church today. http://www.bridgepointonline.org/

The pastor was dressed in jeans and flip flops and his name is Tim. laugh It is one of the most "real" churches I have been to. Today just happened to be Life Groups Sunday, which is where they focus on home groups and building relationships.

It was about giving and serving and that's it. He went on to preach the this was not about us, it was about what God intended us to be and how we can become that.

(He obviously didn't know who he was talking to...) tongue

hoppy

My name is Allen, and I'm a sugar-holic.

For that reason we do NOT bring ice cream home - if we get some we go somewhere for a cone, otherwise we'll eat ice cream until there's no more ice cream.

Did I mention I'm supposed to be on a diet? - not making much progress.

Tonight in a moment of weakness, when sent into the store to get diapers, milk and bread, I also grabbed some chopped hazel nuts and a pint of Blue Bell pistachio and almonds ice cream. slurp

Melanie helped me finish half of it... it will be calling my name tomorrow night too, I'm afraid hoppy

I am a carb-aholic...

You can have all of the ice cream at Cold Stone...Give me a big bowl of mac and cheese or a baguette and some tomato sauce, or mashed and gravy, etc. and watch me go to town...

*sigh*

Life shouldn't be this hard... smash

Mmmmmmmmm good breakfast!!! I had scrambled eggs and sausage.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Speaking of the ice cream for we who can get Blue Bell, they have new flavors out
Anniversary Cake (light almond flavor with bits of white butter cake and icing in it)
Birthday cake (some type of chocolate cake and icing)
Century Sundae (haven't had that yet)
That's in celebration of their 100th year anniversary yay
I had to go to Austin Friday and drive through brenham (an hour northwest of houston where they make blue bell ice cream) - they were giving away ice cream at the fair grounds, but I didn't see the fair grounds from the highway so I kept going frown
