This Friday and Saturday night Hot Hearts will be coming to Beaumont's Ford Park Arena. Scheduled guests include Jeremy Camp and the David Crowder worship band.

I love Jeremy Camp. Little anecdote here, I first heard Jeremy's CD while on the way to Colorado 2 years ago for my first ski trip. It was Phil's CD. I liked it so much he let me have it, because it was just a burned copy. Well, I'd never seen a pic of JC, so I didn't know what he looked like, and I like to picture artists as I listen to them sing. Well, Phil is a middle aged man who works out regularly, he's tall but has gray hair...(kinda like Allen ). Anyway, I guess because Phil is the one who gave me the CD, I always pictured Jeremy Camp as a middle aged gray haired guy who had a bit of a soft yet quietly intimidating aura.

Then I was scanning channels and came up on a concert on TBN. HHAahahahaha. Whoa, was my picture ever off. He's prolly around my age with piercings and spiky hair. LOL. No gray there at all. I was almost disappointed. I still love his music, tho...

Tickets for the 2 evening event are $20 ahead of time and $23 at the door.

Lara Morales had also said that Mercy Me was gonna be there, but they aren't mentioned on the website. I heart JC and david crowder, but Mercy Me is way cooler

If we go it will need to be Friday night, Melanie and I are going out of town Saturday for a week so we'll miss the Saturday evening show.

If you live to be older than 80, I guess you're not quite middle aged yet. I'll talk to Billy. I kinda wanted to go somewhere else Fri night and make it Saturday, but there was nothing set in stone. I'd rather go to HH Fri if it would mean having some company a leetle closer to our own age. At least if Billy and I went with you and Melanie we may still be considered young adults considering that you are middle-aged. Mwuuhahahaha.

Seriously, tho...I was considering bringing both kids. Most of it will be over Celeste's head, but for the strangest reason, she loves Jeremy Camp. Has for two years...she's 7 and she can pick his voice, his song up from the radio out of all the other songs and artists. I think the rest of it would be worth it for her to actually get to see him. Hehe. So if we all go on Friday, would you care if we brought the kids, I guess is what I'm asking...?
