Please remember Al, Mel and baby David in your prayers tonight and over the next few days...I don't know much, just tidbits from Jerry... but I do know that Mel delivered today and baby David is in NICU, I think he was a bit smaller than expected especially considering Dad's size!!! but then yesterday Mel didn't look a day over 5 months......I'm sure Big Al will keep us posted whenever he's able to come up for air...Pray for their continued well-being and that God will continue to lay his healing hands on them and expediate their recovery... God Bless....

Just to let you know, so you know where I am for the next few days - my wife delivered our baby yesterday after a difficult labor and an emergency c-section. Our son is in Neonatal ICU - the placenta seperated during labor. He's ok, full term, but for some reason he's only 3lbs 13 ounces. So we'll be busy for at least a few days. I'm headed back up to the hospital after running home to shower and check on them.

They've got prayer.

Everything will be alright man. They've had babies that weigh way less than that and somehow God still manages to pull them through. We're all praying for you and your family over here. Congrats on the new child.

He was weaned off oxygen yesterday and as you can see we got to hold him last night. They've begun feedings yesterday as well and we're hoping to feed him today. It looks like he'll be in a few weeks while he gains weight.

Melanie is doing better, she's quite sore still from the combo labor and c-section. Hopefully she'll get to go home tomorrow.

Thank you everyone for your prayers, we continue to need them as Melanie improves and David grows.
