He's doing very well  ![[Linked Image]](http://www.praisecafe.org/photoGallery/data/506/medium/Fall_06_Davids_2ndWeek_069.jpg) David has been soaking up the feedings like a sponge - he's up 8 ounces in his first week and surprising the doctor with how fast he has grown. Today he weighed 4lbs 5oz. and got his IV finally taken out - that itself was an answer to prayer - it's ssooo much easier to feed, bathe and hold him without those 2 tubes and their pole/pumps being drug around. He's moved to a window seat in the NICU and will get out to a crib when he gets to 4lb 7oz. If he continues to grow at that point the doc says we can take him home  ![[Linked Image]](http://www.praisecafe.org/photoGallery/data/506/medium/Fall_06_Davids_2ndWeek_044.jpg) They are continuing to run tests to see why he was born so small - everything so far has been negative - brain ultrasound, TORCH titers on the cord blood (checked for viral infection during pregnancy), many other tests. He'll have a renal (kidney) ultrasound tomorrow. Hi everyone! I just logged in and read all of the prayers and wonderful posts that everyone has written. Thank you all so much for your continued prayers and support during this time. As Allen has been reporting, David is doing very well and is growing big and strong! They moved him into a crib this morning and will continue to monitor him over the next couple of days. If all goes well he will be home Friday, much sooner than we originally thought. We are so excited to have him here and pray that he will continue to do well. He certainly has alot of angels looking over him.
Thank you all again for everything. We are very luck to have you as part of our family!
