most jobs[espec delivery type]expect you to have reliable transportation as job requirement. and if you dont live on a bus line, you are stranded! nEED JOB TO PAY FOR INSURANCE TO DRIVE TO WORK[LEGALLY]. What can a person say, if no good car-as excuse to turn down a job[if offered or hired]? Or accept job and then you had lied about having a way to this job. [if i had one]. hoping faith would fix your car byu the time youd have to be at work. new jobs less nice about it. if not established, are easily replaced. and if working for yourself and job requires travel to support this job-what then?

It's a big problem not having transportation. I undertand how that goes from time to time. It's a big mess.

it s hard to rely on family to get me to work when last car failed me, my ex boss was a tyrant and allowed no leeway for tardiness. well, at least no job to loe this time-yet no way to afford car fixed either. its a double edged sword. but life happens! God is still good, not to blame here. He sent this angel joe to me. cant be too bad. [;

thanks. its not really about pride, but getting around , not being a TOTAL bum hitching rides with family/friends. sometimes its ok to accept help. hard lesson for me. i feel secure when i could pay my own way and not NEED others support, espec family[they aint rich]. i dont feel comfy driving their cars. paranoid really. im not THAT insured. hehehe plus without car, cant get/keep a job unless on bus rte. even then depending on job applied for. if its for delivery or house sitting etc, def. NEED my wheels. not about pride, but being independent.

I don't mind taking you out if you need a ride. I understand that you want to be independent and have a car when needed.

weather improving. cant worry about driving in bad weather today. Parking garages are a nightmare. I was trapped in one for 30 minutes in Houston. Only reason I got out was I followed a car out of there.

I HAD TO PAY 35 BUCKS TO GET OUT OF ONE, FORGOT TO GET A TICKET. I WAS FROM OUTTA TOWN, HOW WOULD I KNOW TO DO THAT? it was expensive trip. but still a fun story .
