try P.O.D. (Payable on Death) I'll look up the websight and post it for ya...

Also, Pax(217?) not sure quite what numbers follow...um, the Benjamin Gate is kinda techno sounding, but they're sorta hardcore...I got an idea...

Be right back.

Try to email THIS little lady or go visit her websight and ask her a question in her guestbook. Tell her who sent ya wink (I've always wanted to say that lol). She is an expert in that area. If you don't hear back from her in a day or so, I'll do some research for ya...

You might also wanna look at Sonic Flood and Audio Adrenalin. There's also the Supertones but they have a very unique sound...takes some getting used to smile

My fav is Third Day...they could be considered along the lines of the Dead...

Just depends on how hard you wanna jam. If you wanna go hard core, try Living sacrifice, Project 86, stavescare, etc. If you don't wanna go that hard, stick with Third Day (which is an incredible band), audio a. like what forever and embie mentioned.

I like all the flavas! meat

Hi guys, It's so nice to hear that you are interested in music that is inspirational, through instumental worship, along with Christian lyrics. That is just what we do. Our group, Faint Image, is a Christian jam band, with guitar and violin. We are currently working on our first cd and our goal is to finish it by spring. Our website is www.faintimage.com. but is currently under construction. Contact us at endure@wt.net.

i don't think anyone really understands the term "jam band" it doesn't mean hard rock as in POD or Pillar or Thousand Foot Krutch. granted all the bands that you all have recommended are great, they aren't jam bands. i know because i have had the same question and looked around for quite some time for a christian jam band. jam bands are more improvisional bands. like phish, the greatful dead, wiedspread panic. they are mellow, very relaxing, they will play a song and somewhere in the middle they will stray from the written music and just JAM for a while. playing off the other musicians, it is really quite wonderful to see guys connect on that kind of level. anyway. if anyone has any information on a band like that. please....... i would love to hear about them.

billy, you may want to do a search for Jam Session. I haven't personally so don't know what the results will be but a jam session is what you are talking about. At least in the stone ages. lol

Here is a band I would classify as a true jam band. They just came out with their 1st cd and it has 6 songs on it each lasting from 9 to 12 minutes. The name of the band is The Selah Project and the new cd is 10,000 times 10,000.

here is their website
