Started a new book the other day. It's funny!! Watched the movie Elf last night. We all liked it, it was hilarious!! Been working alot. Got advised the other day at the local college, will be taking a few classes in the spring. Considering changing majors but out of 113 hours only ~50 will transfer. What's going on with you?

Well, thank goodness....Christmas is behind me now. What a great holiday season this has been! Bill and I celebrated our first Christmas, together. And we all spent it together in the new house and on top of all that....we had snow flurries! I believe that everyone got what they asked for (mostly). I was just happy to be with my family. I told Bill that I was very thankful that we bought and paid for everything along the way. That we didn't "charge" anything. So, Christmas '04 trully is behind us. Now that the lights are down and the tree is put away for another year, I am focusing on '05. My dreams and my goals as a person and for my family. I want to grow stronger both spiritually and physically. (And mentally). I want to be a better mother and a better wife. And I want to go back to school. I don't care what anyone says...that is a hard thing to do when you work the hours that I work. I hate working the 10 pm -6 am shift. But, as a mother....it is the only schedule that I can pull right now. But, I guess if going back to school was easy....then everyone would be doing it. I need a good dose of determination to make it along the way. I have come to far with my education to quit now.
I look back on '04 and reflect on everything that it held for me. I got married. I got pregnant. I suffered the loss of miscarriage. I moved from TX to LA. I got a new vehicle. It is safe to say that this past year has been a roller coaster ride. But, I held on! The louder the devil roared....the more I clung to the Lord for strength. I thank God that He has always been a strong tower that the rightous could run into. I am also thankful that He has been that same "strong tower"....and sometimes my "hiding place"....even when I wasn't so "rightous".
I am hoping that 2005 is a healthy and prosperous year for all of us. Not that I find that I am deserving of such....but, I will continue to run the good race.
My prayer for each of you that has stuck around to read the end of this....is that God will bless you abundantly in '05.
Saphy

And, may He Bless you abundantly too, Saphy. You certainly did have quite a year. I think you and He are doing just fine not that you shouldn't want/strive for more. God Bless you.

Left for work yesterday morning a few minutes early for once. My Durango is pretty dirty, I haven't washed it since maybe my wedding or something and it is kinda hard to see out the windshield. My commute to work is a little less than 2 miles, mostly up this one road - Calder Ave. As I drive in the morning the sun is directly in my eyes - that, combined with the dirt makes it especially difficult to see - so I peer through a spot that's a little cleaner with one eye so I can squint and keep the sun to a minimum. The lights are green (both of'm) and for a split second I think about using my cruise control, but I can't since it only works above 35mph and I'm only doing 33 or so. So I'm squinting with one eye (my right one) through this 'cleaner' spot over and up a little and not watching my speed cuz it's ok. I cross this railroad track and think I see something in the road. I soon recognize it as someone dressed in dark walking into the middle of my left lane and stopping!?!? I hit the brakes and stop and squint a bit more and see a policeman motioning me over to the side street The rest of the day went great, the vending machine downstairs even had Frosted Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Pop Tarts
