Since Embie has been uncharactaristically quiet and Big Al and the rest of the gang are playing snow bunny I had a few minutes this week to actually read a book!

Overall Impression: Good, worth the read. The author did go through pains to convince both Christians and any non christians who might chance upon the book about God's divine authorship of the Bible. The author provides the reader with Historical, archeological, mathamatical PROOFS of the bible's inspiration by none other than God. In some places the author was a tad repititous and the book did get a bit dry with some of the statistics presented, but nothing that make you put it down.

This is the first work I have read that dealt with the issue of "Bible codes." I have always accepted God's inspiration of scripture so all the parade of evidence wasn't a conversion point for me. As far as the codes go. I am convinced that they are a real phenomenon. That being said The codes that occur in the Bible do not have an ability to "tell" us anything, they do however confirm in retrospect God's foreknowledge of historical events, proving that the Bible we have is no doubt letter for letter as God told it to Moses and the other fourty-something transcriptors. I learned a tremendous amount in those few pages. Again, overall I recommend it to anyone, Christian or questioning.
God bless ya!
