But......poor decisions on top of poor decisions only lead downhill. This from a man who is in the midst of what your parents are only talking about.

Do not let just one justify another. There is nothing that you cannot overcome but it does take communication between you and your parents. And as Steve mentioned...boundaries. Some set by your parents and some set by you.

Well here's a shocker. Mother dearest crawled into my bed with me this morning, and hugged me and told me she loves me and that she's sorry she's such a B*tch all the time.

=| That was nice of her to say, but it doesn't mean that anything is going to get better. I should have talked to her, then... but I was in a coma two minutes earlier and wasn't thinking properly.

And... those "mistakes" (I don't know if I want them to be called "mistakes." I don't regret any of it--*shrug*) aren't because of my parents, as a way to get back at them or anything like that by any means. They were physical actions for the way that I feel with someone I love. I didn't do it as a release (I have journals for that) or for spite (I don't have enough energy for that). I don't want that to be misinterpreted.

the lightbulb in my overhead bathroom light has worked ~10 years now...

you know I asked myself the other day ... I said self "Where can I find a good bathroom light" could you tell me what brand it is?

You know they have those ones that are have warranty for life at Home Depot (or Lowe's). Yes. Invest. I don't think I've ever changed my bathroom lightbulbs. They've moved from three houses. =) (We're cheap. We take our $10 light bulbs with us)

Also. I'm conducting a survey on the sexual activity of students in my school for an English report I have to do. Holy moly. I'll post the results... so far, they're quite depressing.

Apparently many people are interested in my report. I passed out the surveys to several of my teachers for them to pass out to their students, and all of them want copies of my report and the survey results. A copy of my survey has been circulating in the teacher work room, three teachers have told me. I think they're going to give me a bulletin board to post the results on... *shrug*

I was just joking about the brand and every thing but its good to know that if I every go on "Who wants to be a Millionare" that I have some friends with crazy knowledge about stuff like that

-I faked sick today. When you're a senior in high school, and you go to school nearly every day, and you're making A's in every one of your classes... and you tell your mom that you don't feel good--she's more apt to let you stay home. Woo. Just what I needed... a day to sleep in. Only bummer is I won't be able to go out tonight. I can hear it now. "If you're too sick not to go to school, you're too sick to hang out with Michael™."

-So my two best friends are Maria and Jenn. We all worked at Ingles together at one point. I quit when I got arrested, and Maria's parents made her quit when she got caught skipping school. So only Jenn works there. Maria's boyfriend, Eric, works in the produce department, and Jenn's boyfriend, Dwight (Haha. Anyone remember anything about him?) is the front end manager. And... my Michael™ is the assistant store owner. So it seems, that even when I LEAVE Ingles, I am tied there. Because when something goes wrong (Namely, Michael™ gets on to someone for not doing their job, or Michael™ handled something all wrong, or Michael™ this that and the other) everyone feels like they need to let their anger out on me--because their boss is a jerk. Or maybe it's just that everyone always can't stand their boss.

-Someone knocked on my door... And I'm reading The Lovely Bones, which is a book about a girl who gets murdered, and her family is left to cope while she watches in heaven... and I'm too paranoid to see who it is, so I just lay in my bed with the phone clutched in my hand, just in case.

-I can smell my own breath, and it isn't good.

-Since I was away on Valentines day, Michael™ and I celebrated together last night. He bought me this BEAUTIFUL little heart necklace with my birth stone in it... It's wonderful. I've never recieved a piece of jewlery from anyone. Michael™ said, "It's a two in one gift. For your birthday, since it had your birth stone. I figured you'd be too spoiled if I got you two things back to back." =)

-We saw 50 First Dates. Haha. Good stuff. Made me laugh.

-At dinner, we talked about God. It was amazing that I opened up to him, because I NEVER talk about God, or how I'm feeling with the whole thing. And he understood.

-When he brought me home, we kissed lightly in my kitchen, and he pulled away and looked at the TV, which had the interview with Mel Gibson on. "Ironic that this would be on," is what he said.

-I'm going to NC again this weekend--for college stuff. I'm scared to death of going away to college. I'm so scared, but I don't know what to do about it.

-I almost told my mom. ALMOST. She always said that she'd want me to tell her if/when it happened--we pride ourselves on the closeness of our relationship. However, it's too soon, she'd think. And maybe she'd be right... I don't want her to know. I don't want her to think less of me, and less of him. I don't think she'd understand.

-The relationship between my parents seems totally restored... Like that few weeks of total confusion didn't even exist. They're affectionat and sweet, and cast loving looks at each other. It makes me happy--but also kinda weirds me out.

-My family life doesn't seem like it's getting any worse, either. In fact, it's looking up. I guess because things are just falling into place with me. I'm making my mom proud in spite of the heartache.

-My internet addiction has come to a close, and I'm slightly hungry.

-I'm a spoiled girl.

-Why... why... why... does everyone in my family insist on leaving bottles with two drops of liquid in the fridge? Why?

-And why do we leave the ice cream, that has icicles from freezer burn, in the freezer?

-Also... Does someone mind telling me where we keep the toilet paper?

-And on that note, why we have to buy the CHEAPEST toilet paper ever? I'm sure my mom has my best interest at hand, but I don't think she realizes the trauma that is accompanied with my finger breaking though the 1 ply toilet paper. ::quiver::

-Why do guys insist on filling the shampoo bottles with water, when there's just a few drops left? Why don't they do that with the drinks in the fridge?

-Normal women think they are suffering when the males in their house leave the toilet seat up. No. Wrong. AT LEAST THEY PUT THE TOILET SEAT UP. I would much rather have to put the seat down than sit on a seat that is wet.

-In spite of my feigning illness, I think I really am getting sick.

-"Irregardless" is not a word. People shouldn't pretend like it is.

-I'm responsible. I called my teacher this morning to let him know that I wouldn't be there to present my half of my project.

-GET THIS. Jenn calls me up last night while I'm on my date, and tells me she didn't finish her half of our project, and that I needed to come by Ingles and pick everything up to finish it, and spend the rest of my night doing it. WRONG. How dare she? I love the girl, but I didn't even want to do a group project. I was going to do it all by myself, but she convinced me. And then last week I wanted her to get Dwight to work for Michael™ for two hours so him and I could go catch a movie. "No, he's tired. He's going to bed." And then he spent the whole night at Ingles anyway, but wouldn't help Michael™ out. So much for favors. There was NO WAY I was doing her project.

-She tried to lay on the guilt trip, but she obviously doesn't know my aunt--or the story behind me being immune to such things.

-I need a nice bubble bath.

-I'm doing something. I'm doing something that I'm scared to do. On March 1st, my friend Haeli and I are cutting 4th block, and going to the Health Clinic... where I will have an exam and be put on BC (Free, provided by our government). Last year I told my mom about how my friends were going to that place, and she told me "Don't ever let it come to that. Tell me. I'd rather take you myself." But I can't. And this is my solution.

-I am in the mood for German Chocolate Cake... oy... or cherry pie.

-Also. I need to do laundry and clean my room. Have a good day.
