Tropical Storm Edouard could be a hurricane soon and is headed right our way.

It is leaning more towards us and is prolly gonna be a hurricaine today I hear.......

it's only winds up to 50 mph, so it cant' be that bad. and it will landfall tomorrow. i wouldnt freak out yet. maybe it'll bring some much needed rain to the area. look on the cup full side of it.

Not worried here but folks are doing the giant freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek-out thing down here and the stores are out of water and the ATMs are out of cash rofl

i have lived through vategrory 3 hurricane winds and rains, thank you very much, when the power went out and my dad was in chicago for the week, my mother and i picked up tree limbs and transferred tons of food across to greandmother's in pt arthur. it was hard work and i was young. we had no electricity for at least a week. so truly, i can be a scare,but protext your people .....stuff can be replaced.

The radar on the weather channel is looking pretty fearsome - it's headed just south of us, meaning we'll get the worst of it on this side.

Headed to sleep, hopefully we'll have electricity in the AM>

I have lived through a major flood myself. In 94' my siblings, father and grandfather were all stuck in our attic with water rising FAST below us. Thank GOD firefighters found us, chopped a hole in the roof and pulled us out. They even pulled our pets out. A firefighter hurried to get out of the attic just as we heard the attic floor collapse inside. No one else but God could have held up that attic floor until we were rescued.

That was a scary day that scarred my memories. I am so glad we lived through that. I cannot even get into a car that has been under water.. it gives me the heebie-jeebies!
