I am gonna start this thread because I wanna ) Anyways... This is for me, but feel free to join in... in posting these things, I think it'll help me see just how stupid and minor it is and see it for what it really is, just junk, get over it I hereby resolve to get those files better organized, they're nothing like I thought they were. - I am sick of the mail that piles up here, there's a never-ending supply of stuff that looks like it might be important *some* day, so I balk at throwing it out... it's usually 6-9 months later (or more) before I actually see that it was junk in the first place and throw it away

This is a great idea and since I won't have to see any of you for at least 6 months, I figure I can have a field day! Oh dang, I forgot about the "take it to them first thing..." Just joking, I think it should be a good release.

-With you on the mail. I have, like 120 at all times. Did that w/my old pm box too. Makes it slower to load and it's just pointless. I'm really never gonna need it again...do you think we get that from our parents, Allen?
-My morning habits tick me off. I set my clock like 25 min fast, but it's not like it really helps because I know it's fast, so when the alarm goes off I think "oh i have 20 minutes..." like that 20 min is really going to help because I refuse to push snooze since I hate the sound of my alarm, so I lie there awake and look @ the clock every 5 minutes, and I thin "i'll get up as soon as it's at :30 and then it's :34 when I look at the clock again, and I think "okay, I;ll wait ooooone more minute untill it says :35" So I end up draggin my lazy butt out of bed late instead of early, and I barely have time to get ready...have to walk out the door with my hair wet and dry it under the hand dryer.

"Harken, O ye of little faith, for you will see your pomegranates wither!" uummm... I mean "po baby" - woke up at 10am this morning, precisely the time I am supposed to already be at church... difficult to get up on time when you go to bed at 3am I am sleepy, but am going to the cowboy thang in a few minutes. - how do you tell someone they sing off-key? I understand English okay most of the time...and even that is sometimes annoying. (depends on who it is that's speaking English to you...)

Yeah, poor baby ... it must be hard to keep getting up and dealing with your schedule ! why dont you hire some able-bodied people who need the extra work to help you ?
i tell you what bugs me ... when the ADULTS you work with are basically CHILDREN and you have to get after them to do the simplest things that would actually make thier days easier. Yet they put SO MUCH effort into getting out of doing things, that it drives you batty knowing it would be easier to JUST DO IT .... never got this concept ... maybe it is my aversion to laziness ...
ever notice now the term "laziness" is truly ironic, in that in most cases it costs less effort to do things, rather than find ways not to do them ??? since we are talking about "plays on words" or the english language

Yeah, laziness is stupid... procrastination on the other hand, is pretty good.. most of my complaints are a direct or indirect result of procrastinating something...
take this for instance: I am squinting at the screen with one eye because I haven't put my contacts in because I left them in waaayy too long the other night and they are irritated.
the scenic trip was a hassle embie cuz I never met the person I went there to see... see?

May you be trampled by a herd of stampeding pigs, O thou irritating inhabitant of Texas! OMG, I am hysterical laughing at myself...I am a mess!!!! [ 10-15-2001: Message edited by: embie ]

allen, yes what you said is true. the less you procrastinate, the less pains in the hineys you will most likely have. but if it makes you feel better, i did the same thing with my contacts the other night too ... as if sticking your finger in your eye is a bunch of trouble ! so, i empathize !

And again: ????????????????????????
