Hey Jesus, you up there?
No, tell me where!

Oh! So You say You’re in my heart!
You say you and I are never apart!

But I say, “No way! How can that be?
You are so much bigger You than me!”

Did You say that You died for my sins?
So I could be forgiven again and again!

I believe that You’re up there,
That You’re in my heart.
I believe You and I are never apart.

Hey Jesus, You up there?
Yeah, You are.

In my heart too, You are I know.
In everyone else’s. You’ll never go.
Hey, Jesus, You up there?


I fin it amazing that in the middle of strife and struggle she still has a clearer understand of who to look to than us adults.

It's a great poem and it's innocence and unworldly that makes kids see so clearly. Children are born perfect except for stain of original sin. It's people and life that chips away at that perfectness.

It is cool! And Thom is right, kids do have a better grasp than we do!
