I have heard a song 3 days in a row on a Christian radio station from Florida (listening over the net) and I absolutely LOVE it...but I have no clue who sings it. The chorus goes something like this:

I wanna feel
Something sweeter than this sin
Cover me in leaves

Cause I've been everybody else
Now I wanna be
Something closer to myself.

Anybody know who sings it???

The station is really cool...they play Kirk Franklin and God's Property, Jars of Clay, POD, Pax, Newsboys, old stuff, new stuff and in between stuff...but I just wish the DJ's would tell me who sings the stinkin song!!!

I was quoting my very first post. I said that the chorus went something like this. and I typed out the chorus. And then you asked if that was the verse or the chorus...so rather than repeat myself, I just repeated myself. Or something...so the segment that I posted earlier is the chorus. Understood???

It's semi fast...sounds a little like Jennifer Knapp but this chick's voice is a bit more controlled although it could be her but I don't think so. It fits in with her style of music if you are familiar with any of her stuff. Sorta contemporary/alternitave girl rock...or something. If that makes any sense at all after 1am and 2 benadryl...
