This is a case of pursuing purity to the detriment of other things. Those guys are so heavenly minded, they are no earthly good! Have I heard that saying before...? <img src="confused.gif" border="0" alt="" />
I can attest to the point that Steve made above. When you shelter your children from the "bad things" in the world, they don't know how to react later in life when they have no choice but to face the decisions that the real world puts before them.
I am a good example.

(don't scoff, I actually knew a mother who did that...) There should be a measure of discernment in the things that your kids are allowed to watch. But don't cut them off from the rest of the world, for crying out loud! The shock value of even simple things will seem like a big crisis to them, and they won't have a clue how to react. It will also leave them feeling inferior to the people around them. Trust me on this one...
