Thought I would share it...since most won't delve through the reams of our debate: ------------------------------------------ And now there came more thoughts and words, And it grew a great debate, And ever onward flowed the din, Nor typeth them with hate...
And a good debate, flowed back and forth, The Athiest did follow, And every day, Nor wisdom came, Into the Athiest's hollo!
The fair words flew, and wisdom blew, The furrow followed free, Nor wisdom came, nor enlightenment, Now whatfore hath god for me?
Day after day, day after day, Afloat on the burning ocean, The idle mind of the Athiest, Nor love, nor hate, nor devotion...
Jesus, Jesus, everywhere, As all the believers think, Jesus, Jesus, everywhere, To the depths, to hades, I sink...
Ah! well a-day! what depth I sank, Had I from songs well sung! Instead of the cross, around my neck, There nothing yet, was hung.
"I fear thee, crazy Athiest! I fear thy words and deeds! And thou art strange, and cannot see, Thy true beliefs and needs..."
A then a self same moment, "Show thy self to me!" Nor heavens gate, nor enlightenment, Hath shown mine eyes to see...
Nor heaven's gate, nor voice on high, Nor angel's song of love, And now it is an emptiness, The Athiest spies above...
And then a voice, with words did type, Of hope, and spoken true, Quoth she, "The athiest is lost, Love him as God loves you..."
But tell me, tell me! speak again, Thy soft voice, calm and strong, What makes your god so wonderful? What takes him oh so long?
If I may know which way to go, She guides me, thick or thin, Quoth she, "Oh athiest look now" But still I see not him...
It took so long to realize, my days are filled with tears, and I hear her lonely last goodbyes, If I could only change those years...
The athiest, whose eye is bright, Whose heart is good and true, He waits for his enlightenment, Who knows what god dare do?
And so, alas, the sun it sets, and darkness clouds his days, And the athiest's hope of seeing god, sets with it's dying rays... _______________________ Modified somewhat...

That's the second time you made me cry in one night. Stopit. Don't close your heart all the way. Open it just a little more. One of these days you will realize that you aren't the one who controls your fate. And I wish I could be there when it happens... You are always in my prayers and I always look forward to hearing from you. God answers the prayers of His children. You better believe it. K-love you, bye for now.

I look to heaven and try to pray, But nor a prayer hath spoke, A wicked whisper leaves my lips, My heart as dry as smoke...
The pain, the loss, with which were cursed, forever and and a day, what god is this? We suffer so, my lips part not to pray...
We suffer so before your god, what cruel wretch is he? That maketh men and women cry, and does so with such glee?
Your god who lives in heaven above, who rules us all below, Who says he loves the children, but makes them suffer so...
I look upon the rotting earth, and there the children lay, I wonder who could curse us so, from god I turn away...

Upon her face, I spy a tear, and it fills my heart with sorrow, I'll be a bit sad and wiser, when the sun comes up tomorrow...

you know, if you always look to the bad things in life, and blame them on God, then i guess life does seem pretty bleak and hopeless. the only response i can think of right now is to look at the marvelous wonders of life...all of nature, your family, your friends, whatever you think is beautiful, and whatever you enjoy doing. without God, none of these things would be possible!!! evil, is the devil's work. however, God let's all things happen so that a greater good will come out of them. he gave us free will, the greatest gift, so that we could decide for ourselves whether to follow Him, or let the devil twist our minds. because we have free will we all make mistakes, meaning sometimes we are the cause of our lifes being in total chaos. but if we call on the name of the Lord, he will come to our aid. i guess our lifes would be totally peachy if we didn't have free will, we would do exactly what we should do always, but God wanted us to chose who we pledge our love and loyalty to. this doesn't mean that once one becomes a christian their life is hunkydory, but it does mean that we will have a friend that sticks closer than a brother with us at all times through thick and thin. i don't know about you, but when i'm feeling down, it's nice to know i'm not alone, besides God, i have a huge adopted family of brothers and sisters!!!! think about it.
hoped something in this message helped.

As long as you continue to deny God and his love, nothing will come of it except more pain and suffering. You know the saying, "It takes a stronger person to say No, then to say Yes"?? Well, that's what it is like to be a Christian. It's hard to walk away from evil and not to do siful things. It's easier just to go along with Satan, but to stick with God you show that you are a much stronger person spiritually. And to just sit aside and say, "What has He ever done for me? He won't love me because nothing good happens to me!" Well, of course He loves you but you won't let him in so you don't see that. He can't do for you unless you open up to Him. May God Be With You 'til we meet again! i'd just like to kind of change what amy said at the end...this is my opinion anyhow...God loves you and watches out for you no matter what; however, it is only when you open up your heart to Him that you see that this is the truth...always has been, always is, and always will be.

Your poetry is beautiful and very thought provoking. It is the first thing that has touched me in a long time. I would be glad to hear more of it if there is more inside you.

Just some words I typed:
Rhyme of the American Servicemember
Good people dying, for a worthy cause I cry, and hate and despise those that twist the truth for us The bane of many more wise
Politics rule and the media spews Their take, but not the news Their view is our view but not the truth They, pay not, their dues
America is lost, at such a cost and government for the people is dead I think upon our problems... and look to the future in dread
Opinions are great, but decide not our fate the experts are far and wide but those in the mix, we have a fix as we've determined when we confide
Let us go forth, and help the world as God's calling directs but the media spews, and it's not the news and the miniscule mistakes they dissect
CNN is up to date and it's nearly real time but their take and ours is different we’re, in the now...sublime
I've walked in fire facing death facing those that hate and behead but the ACLU and others think I'm to be faced with dread
Ours is a democracy the best on planet earth but ours is a questionable system governed with guile and mirth
It fails us in many ways but still it stands tall and strong I often wonder why I fight when so many views are wrong
But right or wrong, true or false I have no other choice the American people I protect I do so without a voice
I'm in the American Military I protect the views I hate but protect I must, and willingly I go through the dangerous gate
"Why" one asks do I do this? "why when you don't agree?" I simply say it's my calling "To keep America free..."
"We support the troops" they say "but we don't agree with the war" it cuts us, who are in the fight but America, we adore
And so we walk most everyday in danger's deep dark alley and though I fear not heaven I fear my walk in the valley
The valley of death and danger for America I walk with glee for those that care not about us my life I give for thee
To those that care about our fate my ever grateful thanks but many have nor care nor thought but their not within our ranks
Our ranks are those that serve a cause a cause both righteous and pure but many do not recognize that most important allure
There is no higher calling than to serve those we protect it matters not if we agree with those that we elect
Protect we will and sacrifice for that is what we do no matter what the others say no matter the media spew
All I ask is patience from each and every one we'll win this fight, given the chance using cunning, support, and the gun
The gun abhorred is critical for the enemy knows it well violence and hatred are their ways the enemy who gives us hell
But hell it is and gleefully we enter into the fire to protect and serve our masters and the people we desire
The families bear a burden and the numbers matter not a death to each and every one is a death to one they begot
It pains them each and every day their loved ones dead in war but the media reports the numbers all that matters, is the score…
Are we but numbers in a war? just numbers for a cause? I hope that all with feelings reflect, and think, and pause
Numbers were not, remember that! We serve in war and strife… One thousand or two, now over three a number is a life
But we continue, and fight we will for those that we protect we have "support" but not support from many that we elect
Then ask yourself, "Do I support" the troops but not the war? and ask yourself if it is true "Is it hatred that I deplore?"
War and troops are one and the same disagree and I'll fight with glee my life I'll give for your family and views have you done the same for me?
Many have, but most have not yet they sound off loud and clear they I protect, with no cost to them but the cost to me is dear
It's my life and those of my friends, not a number, not a view and though many might know our sacrifice the numbers are really few
Our history is reap with sacrifice for the many, by the few the few will carry forward no matter the many's view
So remember that we that choose to serve are brothers, sisters and sons and issues that we fight for are decided with guts and guns
But we who serve voluntarily once done we have no choice except the vow of servitude we serve without a voice
So speak for us when others won't except for their own need for other's needs don't matter much because their not the ones that bleed
But their needs we serve, no matter their views and those that stand with us too your military members in servitude the proud, the brave, the few
