That your hunger for God will not be satisfied. and that you will not be satisfied with "just church", but be thirsty for His presence in your life on a day to day basis. I hope you will discover what a joy it is to be completely filled with His joy and peace and the fullness of how much Jesus loves and cares and delights in giving you the desires of your heart....when you seek after Him. Let praise be on your lips continually in good and bad times , and know that when tough times come(and they will) that God's grace is sufficient and He will deliver you, and hide you from your enemies if you will just take refuge in His love. you can have church anywhere, not just in a building. cool!went to ny bash anyway. glad-folks missed me in old class. am surprised. even an old crush said hi. wow! chnl 12 came at start for a short caption. then he was off to crockett st. at least this party was free. even played some U2 and oasis. awesome! already fond memories of those songs-yet bittersweet.[ old ex's favorite was u2-he transfered with job on 96]

had to know what Id be missing had I chose to stay home. few came in with dates. but they are obvious couples already. as usual,. wore my maroon jacket[not entire time as it was warm at party]no dancing. just sitting or standing around in their usual groups like at sunday school. good to missed anyway. one guy pal gave me a ghug on way out. not a romantic hug. a brotherly one. still nice.

thought I was over that crush. am not. if he had gave me hug, woulda fainted on spot. [; may visit that class again. [;

good article about perry re election coming up, todays paper. met welsh durind Poe campaign FAll 04. and another chap who wrote articles/commentaries on occasion [same paper].he doesnt go to church at cc. so names wont matter. met delatorre , but he didnt remember me at church. [i had different hair].for a block walk, coffeemaker didnt work that saturday.

delatorre was on chnl 12 [weather i think]awhile back. funny chap too. in choir i think at ccc. didnt want to embarass since he didnt remember me[at church]. all blockers met at judy/macon ware's home for lunch. john sat at our table shortly. had to go to a wedding i think.

I read all your topics! Just don't always have time to reply. It sometimes takes a few days to get a reply...Back when it was just me and Allen and maybe 4 other visitors once a week or so...man, now THAT was slow. I was talking to myself for like months before anyone said anything back to me. lol

So back to the subject at hand, those are wonderful words spoken for the new year...Pastor Lloyd spoke last week about goals for the New Year. He gave us a list of spiritual goals to strive for...mountains to overcome, if you will. He said pick ONE and focus on just that one, and you will have a greater sucess rate than if you try to tackle too many obstacles at one time. I think my goal is to have more joy in my life.
