So many times, we say we put our trust in the Lord. But what is deep within us is that desire to be in control of our own lives. We can say it to others, sing it out loud, proclaim in all woderful fashion that the Lord is in control, that we put our trust in him. But we still hold on to that element of control in our hearts...
Whatever the circumstances, God always offer us a chance to say, "Lord, this is my life. I give it to you." No matter what you have done, God gave us a choice whether to surrender our lives back to him or just live as if we control our lives.
What would you do if you are faced with a question: "Would you surrender your life to God?" Would your answer be a resounding yes, or otherwise? Think carefully before you answer. It makes all the difference in eternity, because God does not want 50, 60, 70% of our heart. He wants 100% of it, that we can love him and tell him truthfully, "Lord, I give my life to you".

I OFFER MY LIFE

All that I am, all that I have
I lay them down before you, O Lord
All my regrets, all my acclaims
The joy and the pain
I'm making them yours

Lord I offer you my life
Everything I've been through
Use it for your glory
Lord I offer my days to you
Lifting my praise to you
As a pleasing sacrifice
Lord I offer you my life

Things in the past, things yet unseen
Wishes and dreams that are yet to come true
All of my hopes, all of my pains
My heart and my hands are lifted to you

What can we give
That you have not given
And what do we have
That is not already yours
All we possess are these lives we're giving
And that's what we give to you Lord
