I don't know it's an old joke to be honest with you.

Whenever someone teaching a Sunday School class speculates on something they say, "That's in the book of (insert your own name here and a chapter and verse reference)" However, since my name actually is in the Bible, I've always had to give a verse reference out of "chapter 4" or I'll do "Joel 3:22" considering the last verse in Joel is Joel 3:21. Then the members of the Sunday School Class laugh dutifully.

Examples:
"It's the relationship not the rules" Book of Allen 1:1

"It's super cool brah!! LOL" Book of Juss 3:24

"The Bible was really written by a a bunch of biased old men - with some mild interjections by God." Book of UCK 4:29

I have always used an Old Testament variation of that. Most commonly made up scriptures come out of the book of hesitations. Although I have been known to cite a number from the book of contemplations. I also have a theory of where the protesters get their motives from, I’m betting it comes out of the book of Unitednations.

If someone tells me they can’t one of those books in the bible I usually assure them with something like “Oh it’s in the middle there. Flip through… if you hit the book of concordance you’ve gone too far”

PS: that was actually an attempt at kidding when I said that Joel only had 3 chapters. When you cited it so clearly in a jocular manner I assumed there was no book of Joel, and so made the joke as if I thought there was such thing.

There’s no such verse as the Book of Juss 3:24 the book of Juss is only 2 chapters.
