The sequel to Disney's Little Mermaid is a fairly good show (for a made for video sequel). The songs are not as good as the original. They did get all of the original voices back (even Ursula's voice is back as Ursula's sister.) It has a good story involving Ariel's daughter. However, a lot of the plots in the story obviously come from other Disney movies ("Sleeping Beauty", "Little Mermaid", etc.)

i didn't really like it. it was unoriginal, the characters didn't fit. the songs were unmemorable...

Yeah. "Lady & the Tramp 2" looks good....and the songs are good too. They are written by Melissa Manchester.....she sang a couple of the songs when I saw her in concert a couple of years ago.

so that would be one thumb down and one thumb up for LMII? Good Lands! that's a harsh critique! Thanks for the info, we shall rent it for the next dinner and a movie!

Unless you just HAVE to watch it on DVD, don't rent it...just give me enough time in advance to ask off and I'll bring my copy.

It's not THAT bad....I mean it's definitely no "Return of Jafar", but also it is no "Lion King 2" (which would make a cool double feature for dinner & a movie.)

Any idea of when the next one might be???
