I think I was born without patience........ Anyone know some scripture that can help improve ones patience? In general, not necessarily with God but more with other people.

Colossians 3:12-13

12Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

In a quick and rather unorganized search, here's what I found...

Romans 12:11-13
"Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality."

I suppose the best way to gain patience is to ask for it from God. Especially right at those moments where you start to feel like you're just going to snap. It may help to write a note on your hand ("In case of impatience, pray!") or something like that.

Be careful... I prayed for patience once and God seemed to say "ok, let's let him learn." I found myself in situation after situation that made me have to wait on HIM. It was a humbling experience
