Hey Embie, what's going on in your life?

I'm afraid I've been overly self absorbed lately, and I may have given off the impression that I don't care. I really do, just a little preoccupied with school, and work, and flagline, and my family, and the whole faith thing.

Hey Ashley, are you in the flagline at your school? We had a pretty good one when I marched in thr band at Lamar U.

Yeah. Tryouts were today. I'm pretty confident I made it. We were great this past year--but--this year, I donno. It's gonna be mighty rough. We'll have about 16 new girls, as oppose to last years tiny 8. A LOT of freshmen.

We have new uniforms! NO MORE SPANDEX! Whaaaahooo.

I'm trying out for officer (Second to captian)... I doubt I'll make it, but it'll better my chances for next year.

You were in marching band? Let me guess. Trumpet? You seem like a trumpety kinda guy.

What gave it away? My permanent pucker?

Good luck on the tryouts and the officer selections, football season practice is the pits, but the games sure are fun

One time, at band camp I went to band camp a couple times... it was pretty ok, we got to be around a lot of area high schoolers that took their music seriously. I learned more in that week or so than I learnd all year, usually
