i wasn't exactly sure where to post this, but i knew i had to. *it's not my bible study *not exactly a praise report *not really a prayer request *or poetry *not in the news a lot, but definately an upcoming event *it needs to be more of the word on the street *definately includes the girl world *i know it's not gibberish
-i figured this is the real world, there is a real God that i am searching for, and he has definately found me on this one.
...this has changed my life...
Over the last few days there has been a restlessness in my Spirit. I mentioned that I feel very unsettled. I feel like the ground underneath me is shifting. I feel as if soemthing is about to change. The Lord knows I love change. I thrive on the unknown. I enjoy the uncertanties of life, I'm extremely uncomfortable when everything is cookie-cutter predictable. When the earth begins to shift, when i hear roots being pulled up, when i feel the wind on my face blowing in a new direction-I like that.
Over the last several days something has been stirring. i can't stop moving around. there is something on the horizion--something big. i can't touch it yet, i can't gaze upon it with my eyes, but i can feel it. it's there, and it's moving closer. My spirit man is speaking loud and clear. He has over-riden my carnal nature and is raising his voice. The first time i heard my spirit man was when i got born again..he told me i was a child of God. My spirit bore witness with God's spirit that i was God's child. Now, the spirit of the Lord is telling this child of God that something's up. The Lord would say to everyone--LIVE UNSETTLED. The Lord would say to everyone--LIVE UNSETTLED. Don't sink too deep into the soil of this earth! Keep your head up and your feet moving. Stay alert! Be sober!
This morning early the Lord spoke these two words "I'm coming!" "the day of My return is at hand. Loose yourself, Loose yourself of any ties that bind you. If you don't loose yourself-I'll help loose you. Prepare the way in your own heart and then help prepare the way in others. I want NO obstacles. I will have NO obstructions. I will return for a pilgrim people." he said "let the church know that the day is approaching..warn them, don't wine and dine them! tell them clearly, don't mix words! My Word, My water is pure, DON'T TAINT IT! make it clear, let my people know it's about to happen. what is about to occur will change world history. Nothing will remain the same. let the unbelievers, let the skeptics, let the religious ones know that what they fear the most is about to happen. Let the unbelievers, let the skeptics, let the religious ones know that what they fear the most is about to happen!" "every fear known to man will be swallowed by the terror of the day ahead. Fear will overcome fear. Dread will overcome dread. The violent will be overcome by the more violent." "My final work is at hand, My spirit's wooing is about to cease. No one will grieve me anymore! No one will quench my spirit anymore! No one will resist me anymore! Their days are over. Let them know that My warm season of grace and mercy will soon turn to a chilling winter of judgement and wrath. The warm days of My wooing will be exchanged for the firey days of my vengance. My pleading for the souls of men, the passionate cry of the faithful harvestors, the unselfish service of My holy servants--All their labor, all the charity, all the pain, all the suffering--IT WILL BE OVER."
"I have heard," says the Lord, "the groans of nature. I have heard the mid-night cries. My church has been begging my return. My bride has been longing to be with me, the plan of the ages has almost reach thruition. the tree has born forth it's fruit, the fertile soil has yielded the harvest, the planting will stop... the laborers will leave...the sickle will rust! It's almost over. I'm coming back. I WILL NOT DELAY MY COMING TO YOU SO DON'T DELAY YOUR COMING TO ME!"
there is a rumbling across the world right now. it's something, it's a rumbling. It's at the infancy stage, it's at the beginning, and you may marvel about what you hear...for years. That's incredible, in God's sight. He's beginning something right now that is going to culminate in His second coming. He is beginning something right now, he's getting his bride ready--and take a look at the church across the world...we're not anywhere NEAR being ready. His fire has got to sweep-ALL OVER. it's got to sweep from coast to coast. it's got to sweep to Finland and Germany, Japan, Australia and Russia. it's got to go into South Africa, South America into Central America. It's got to touch every continent in this world.
and what he is saying to me, and what he is saying to you..is to go on and on. we all know that, but you need to live as if He's coming back tonight.
He's not coming back for a weak church-he's not coming back for a helpless church-he's not coming back for stained spotted, wretched church-he's not coming back for a church in adultry. He's coming back for a church that's anticipating, they're looking, they're anticipating his return. A bride that's looking up to Heaven saying "Jesus! Maranatha!...Maranatha,come back! Come back, come quickly Lord! Come quickly Lord!"

That's incredible!!

Lightbulb4hm, your right...don't sink--instead branch out your roots and strenghten yourself in the growth that GOD has deemed you worthy of. We all need to realize that through "shifting sands" we are allowed to grow.
So, if you find yourself in unfamiliar circumstances, realize that God has decided that you have outgrown your "pot" (job, finances, relationship, thought pattern, faith level, etc...), and allow Him to DO WHAT HE IS DOING.
Is this scary? YOU BET!! Because we are human and usually oporate in the flesh. But as lightbulb4hm put it...He's going to loose us anyway. I've never seen a garden in which the flowers and plants told the gardener where and when they wanted him to plant them.
Trust and Know that He is God!!
Good word lightbulb

Yes, thank you lightbulb for relaying what I have been experiencing with words that have evaded me. Truely the Spirit has spoken through you. God is not looking for a lazy sleeping defiled adulterous church. He is looking for a bride without spot or wrinkle who has oil enough to keep the lamp burning. I am different than lightbulb. Change makes me uncomfortable. Unsettlement makes me nervous. And lateley God has been saying "Child, get up off your butt and go do my bidding." It's not enough any more to just say what you are you have to live it. And it's not enough anymore just to live who you are you have to say it. It goes hand in hand. Do not wait for the opportunity to witness to someone. Make the opportunity. Do not worry about what it will cost you. If it means that you lose a friend then so what? If it means that you lose a job, then so what? If it means that a family member is angry with you so what? If it means that you loose some or all of your worldly posessions...SO WHAT? If it means that you lose your LIFE---SO WHAT. We are to count ALL gain as loss, follow the example of those who walked before us, and make sure that we do not let one person cross our path without trying to share the message with them. REPENT! We are such a selfish church with selfish motives and selfish admonitions. What would one of us do faced with losing our life as we know it? Imprisoned? Threatened with bodily harm? We should not worry about someone who can harm our physical body but only the one who can destroy our spirit. The time will come when we will no longer have the freedom that we now have to express our faith. I wonder then how full the churches will be. When faced with the possibility of death as a result of our faith...what would we really do? Think about it. Some people have never considered the possibility of dying for Christ because they are not even living for Him. We pity and pray for countries who have to meet in secret. Smuggle in Bibles and face great torture and death at the hands of authorities if caught. I wonder do those people worry about what they are wearing or what the sound system is going to sound like or how good the lighting will be when they meet? Are they worried about impressing anyone? Are they worried about what they will do when the meeting is over with? NO NO NO!!!! I promise you that every person who risks their lives to attend mettings at the underground churches are there for ONE reason. And that is to find God. And if they didn't find Him do you think that they would risk all that they risk in order to keep going back??? God is not a convenience to them. He is not a commodoty. He is not something that is easily taken for granted. He is not a fad or a phase. He is not a fashion statement. Jesus Christ is their life. Thier reason for living. Thier source of strength. Where we put our faith in our paychecks they put their faith in God. Where we find our comfort in our luxuries, they find their comfort in God. Where we find our strength in our freinds, they find their comfort in GOD. Where we find our laughter and joy in entertainment, they find their joy in God. Where we find our freedom in our country, they find their freedom in God. Oh that we would give up all that we have for the sake of Christ--but would we? Would we really give up our conveniences for the sake of His name? How many of us would hide out and keep our God in a secret box? How many of us would forget about Him all together? How many of us would deny Him? We do allready with our lifestyle. YES, we do! We have our daily routine where we pray in our secret place when we awake. We go off to our jobs and talk about God if someone else brings it up, maybe or if it is someone that we know wants to hear it. But mainly we talk business. And thatis how it should be right? Of course your employers might not appreciate you taking up company time to witness to others...DONT YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE ON GODS TIME??? Don't you know that you are here on your Father's business? Don't you know that the more people hear about Him the sooner He will come? Or is that what we are afraid of??? Oh, God my life is too good right now...please wait????!!!! Or Oh God my life is not in order please wait!!???? WELL You had better hurry up and GET your life in order is all I can say because He IS coming ready or not. And if you have a sign on your door that says "gone for more oil" Or "gone to clean out my closet" or "gone fishing" then you will be awful shocked when you get back. The time to get your business straight is not tomorrow night, it's not at the next service, it's not at the next altar call. It is NOW. RIGHT NOW. Evaluate your motives. Think about it. That famous saying that is going around-- If you were accused of being a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you? Well? Not speaking of religious credits. That is not evidence. Not speaking of how well you sing, write, dance, preach...that is NOTHING. Evidence is how close you walk with Him. How much you are willing to give to Him for Him. Lead people to Him. We can sing it, say it, pray it, shout it, but until we DO it it means NOTHING. If actions speak louder than words, the let me live loud enough to be heard. This attitude that the church has now days that if you are not full of worldly posessions than you are not walking in God's perfect will for your life: HOGWASH. In ICorinthians we are told that the apostles are not held in esteem, but that they are put to shame. They have become as the filth of the earth. That they have no worldy possesions. That they are alone with the exception of their Saviour. And we are told that we should follow their example. Imitate them. I promise. It's in there: Ch.4. We are too concerened with image although we say we are not. We are far too concerned with what we have and don't have although we say that we would give it all away. Does anyone get it? There will be a time when none of it matters. NONE OF IT. Name one great apostle or prophet in the Bible that held down a steady job, had a nice income and a comfortable home. Nice clothes. Name one. Name one person that when Jesus called them He did not call them also to give up EVERYTHING that they had. Worldly possesions, family...He even told them to let the dead bury thier own dead. Follow Him without looking back. If your family would stop you then don't think twice about it. Leave them. Not out of lack of love for them but out of greater love for Him. We can live our comfortable Christian lives, but what if something went wrong? What if? What if we all had to meet in a secret basement room with nothing but us and a Bible. No musicians, just our voices. No lights, no a.c. no heater....I wonder how many people would show up. Sad, that we need all of these things to lure people in when all that should be luring them is the presence of God. Sad that we condone this idea of backdoor Christianity where if we can sneak in on them as something else and then catch them when they arent looking we think that we have done something great for God. Sad that we would rather a service go our way than God's way. That would just be too uncomfortable for us. We might just have to repent. That might almost be too much. We cry about wanting more of God and wanting God to change us and purify us...but we are unwilling to give Him anything. We think that our words alone will prove something to Him. When will we wake up and see that now is the time? We are the people? We are created for "such a time as this?" We should be living as if this were the last day of our life. If this was the last day of your life and you KNEW it...what would you be doing? Would you be having to repent? That should allready be done! You should allready be prepared! Not that any of us have ever or will ever gain perfection. Not that any of us have allready gotten to the level that we should be at. But we should be striving to do just that...forsaking every thing else and pressing on pressing forward falling down on our knees and seeking His will. Is that really what we seek? Are we trying to conform our will to His, or are we trying to conform His will to ours????

ok... I think I just went blind trying to read all that, so bear with me as I try to type in braille now... Just kidding... all excellent you three... This is what has been pushing me on recently myself. I slip and fall daily (and sometimes I take a big dive), but I feel that I must push on... it may be the Lord's way of telling me time is short, get it done now, for there's not much time left... Good Word... ------------------ Allen
