I was working the other night--and yes, I was dressed according to cafe codes--when these guys came up and overheard me talking to someone about God. The guy that I had been talking to gave me his church's card, and the guy who had overheard us talking gave me his church's card. One of the girls that I work with--I've been trying to get her to go to Stand with me, but she's just not there yet--asked me a good question. "They already know that you go to church, and that you have God. Yet they give you church cards and invite you to their church. Why don't they give ME church cards while they're at it? Do I look beyond help? That's it. I must look beyond help. You're the only one who invites me to church." I've been thinking about what she said. How easy is it to discuss theology, how awesome God is, and how great your church is to someone who is wearing the dog tags or the Christian shirt? Pretty easy, right? How easy is it to discuss Jesus with someone who you're not sure about? Someone who probably doesn't hear about Him on a day to day basis? Not as easy is it? But who needs to hear about it more? The one who already has Him, or the one who is looking for Him? Just a thought...

Keep thinking like that and we will have to give up religion all together and just be CHRISTIANS...who knows maybe it could even start a movement that can change the world...HMMMMM what to call it?....

Hmmmm... Imagine that!

You want to know why they spoke to you not your friend?? Its real easy to preach to the choir! Its hard to evangelize! A person has to be comfortable with what their own walk is before that can try and convince someone else they need a walk and possibly face being rejected in public. Just got to understand when we talk to someone about God and they blow us off, its not our defeat because God will have the victory!

Trouble is most of us take is personal when someone turns their back on God, its ok God still loves them enough to have sent his son 2000 years ago! We shouldn't take it personal, God has a plan!

You know what befuddles me...is that we can judge people. I believe that when we stand before our Eternal Judge-- and we are asked to plead our case (guilty, innocent or for some nolo contendre)... with Jesus our Lawyer the devil being the prosecutor or accusser of the brethren... I believe we will plead the blood of Calvary. You see it is not about us... never was. He did it, we accept it. Where does our boasting come in, where does our greatness shine? More unbelievers would come to know Jesus if we would simply share His love not judgement. The Word says that Blessed is the man to whom his sin is not imputed. Share love not judgement. Remember... you reap what you sow.

Exactly! Live by example. Example of what? Jesus. Jesus is what? Jesus is LOVE. That's what most people are searching for. Love. A love that will not demand anything in return. A love that is not defiled. A love that will not abandon them. That's what I was looking for, and I want everyone to know that I have found it, and I want to share it with everyone else. It all comes back to Him. All the glory for anything I do. Why? Because I do it for Him. He did not judge us, therefore what place do we have to judge? What right? He lived among sinners and died between thieves. And rose so that we would no longer have to be called sinners, but blood bought children of a loving wonderful Father. How then is it too much of Him to ask for us to go out there and love each person that we meet--no matter how poor, rich, ugly, wierd, mean, or dirty. Because without Him, we are nothing.
Thank you Jesus for loving me...
